The last rank details of 2008 have not been published by CUSAT. Morevover, there is some change in the admission principles in 2009 as compared to 2009. So a meaningful judjement of possibilities cannot be made.
Sir,
I am an Ex-Serviceman. I sought reservation for my son in EXS categoy in Kerala Entrance Exam in 2008. I have filled up Annexure XIII and forgot to attach it with the application. So this was not considered for his application. He got his admission in merit and undergoing his course in SCT, TVM. I came to know later that this facility of being the son of an EXS can be availed only for one time only. This is endorsed in my Discharge book. I have one more son who is younger to him. Is it possible to cancel the first Annexure XIII, to avail the facility for my second Son ? If so, What is the procedure ??

As per the Prospectus for admission to Professional Degree Courses, 2009, for claiming Ex-servicemen Quota (XS), Applicants should produce along with the application form a certificate in Annexure XIII (a) obtained not earlier than 6 months from the date of application from the military authorities or State/Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer to the effect that he/she is the son/daughter of ex-serviceman or an ex-service man himself /herself. The certificate should clearly show that the benefit of reservation has not been granted earlier to any member in the family..So this benefit is given only to one member of a family. Since you have obtained the certificate but not got the seat based on that, another child of yours can claim this benefit. For this you have to first get a certificate from the office of the CEE stating that your child hasnot been granted the benefit of Ex-service men reservation for admission to Professional Degree Courses. You can approach the Sainik Welfare office with this certificate and get the benefit for your second child.
