CBSE had announed that the schedule of allotments would be put up on www.mohfw.nic.in. Even now (10.45 pm on 09.6.09), nothing has been made available in this site. This just shows how authorities take things. The counselling is scheduled to stat on 12th, as per the Prospectus. It shows the schedule for UR up to 1551 only. You must have received by now, a memo showing the date of seat allotment. If not, wait for that. Let us hope something postiive happens. We will update things in this site as and when information is received. Keep watching.
my score in CEE-Kerala is 280.my Approximate rank will be??

In 2008, Medical Rank was around 9350 for mark 280; Engg rank was around 3830 for mark 280. Need not be like this in 2009.

my sister has got 2823rd rank in CUSAT entrance test for B-tech.She also secured 19th rank in BGN category.Will she be able to get any one among electronics , electrical, computer science &civil stream under free seat category.pls send me your valuable reply..

Engg rank was around 4675 in 2008 for a mark of 260. It need not be like that in 2009. If you are in the rank list you can seek admission to all colleges and opt for all branches offered for allotment..

CUSAT CAT result is available at http://cusatresults.nic.in/. Counsellign details will appear at www.cusat.nic.in. In KEAM 2008, engg rank was around 13700 for a mark of 156. It need not be like that in 2009. See the last ranks of KEAM 2008 at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/allt/FinalPhase/lrank_221008.pdf and at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/allt/round2/last_rank_P2_310808.pdf to make an assessment on your chances for admission based on trends of 2008.

Chemical engineers get placements in Chemical process and petrochemical industries, pharmaceuticals; health care; pulp and paper; food-processing; polymers; biotechnologyand environmental health and safety sectors., fertilizer plants, petroleum refineries, plastic and yarn manufacturing companies, food and mineral processing industries also offer jobs to Chemical Engineers. From thsi you can get an idea of the scope of Chemical Engineers. But the avenues may not be as higha s that in the IT field.

Annual Fee for B. Sc(Nursing) at Amrita is Rs. 90,000 /- as per http://www.aimshospital.org/academics/nursing-school/admission.html. Regarding admission details, the Institute does not publish such details of earlier years to make any assessment. .

There are only limited seats reserved for OBCs in Central Institutions under AIPMT. If you have only OBC rank, it may be a bit difficult it seems.
