Engg rank was around 2515 for mark 320 in 2008. It need not be same in 2009. See last ranks of 2008 at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/allt/FinalPhase/lrank_221008.pdf
sir my son keam engg mark around 150-170.wat rank i can expect.
he wish to drop a year.

Candidates in mark range 170-150 for Engg had ranks in the range around 11800-14600 in KEAM 2008. It need not happen like this in 2009. Repeating Engg Entrance is a risky affair as you cannot foresee as to how you are going to fare in the next examintion. So think twice before taking a decision.

Engg rank was around 14775 for the mark of 149 in 2008. It can be different this time. See the last ranks at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/allt/FinalPhase/lrank_221008.pdf and http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/allt/round2/last_rank_P2_310808.pdf to make an assessment of your chances.

Rank was around 5350 for a mark of 247 for Engg last year. This time it can be different. Wait for the result and then go through the last ranks of 2008 to know your chances for allotment.
AIEEE Rank list I am in 7856 rank Iam in OBC category I got 101 marks arcitect streem I can get admisson in other collages in inda? Or I have to attend aptitud test??

You can attend AIEEE counselling if you have become eligible. Closing ranks in various institutes based on AIEEE 2008 ranks can be seen at http://aieee.nic.in/ccb2009/ORCR09/stream.htm

There are only limited seats at JIPMER under Open caegory. The allotment details of 2008 are not published by JIPMER to make an assessment.

Mechanical Engineering is the study of Manufacturing Process, Machineries design, implementation and maintenance. Electronics and Communication Engineering deals with the principle of electronics, design etc and the Communication part deals with Analog and Digital communication Television, Transmission of signals through telephones, network etc. Mechanical engineers can be self-employed as consultants or entrepreneurs. Mechanical Engineers can find jobs in Industrial organizations including Steel, Aluminium, Fertilizer and Cement industry, Petro-chemical complex, Textile and paper mills, railway Locoworks, Railway carriage factory, Ship yards, Aeronautical industries, Automobile industries, Armament industries, Cranes & earth moving equipment industries, Large forging and foundry units, units producing domestic itemsetc. Electronics and Communication is apart of our life now. So you cannot have a world without Electronics Engineers who can find job sin these fields.

The rank difference if any that may be there cannot be predicted. There was no extra time this year. Exam was of 150 minutes last year also.

You can go through page 32-33 of the Prospectus to see the list of Universities/Instiutitons having UG Programmes. Kerala Agricultural University offers B.Sc Agriculture in its 3 campuses at Vellayani, Vellanikkara and Kasaragod. See http://www.kau.edu/ . B.Sc.(Agriculture) is offered at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. See http://www.tnau.ac.in/ugadmi/index.html .
