The last allotted candidate for MBBS in Govt seat in Private SF Colleges in 2008 under SM category had rank 1070. There may be changes this year. Availability of Govt seats in SF Colleges and Fee structure have not been announced so far. last year in Govt. seats, it was Rs.45,000/-

1.i got kerala medical rank as 2288, is there a chance taht i could get a seat for medicine(MM)in any colleges that has less fees . what fess shuld i have to pay.
2.sir, is there is any increase in the no of seats in nit calicut(both general and obc) compared to last year

No candidate with this rank got allotment for MBBS under SM category in Govt/Govt Supported SF or Priavte SF Colleges in 2008. Admissions at Pariyaram in Management seat in 2008 was done by the CEE. Fee in Management seat was 4.35 lakhs. No information is available now on the allotments to Managemetn seats by CEE this year. However, the Academy had issued a Notice inviting applications for Management seats for MBBS/BDS. See the link http://www.mcpariyaram.com/
I got 51 % 491 marks, 5373 rank in kerala professional entrance exam 2009 published today. My CBSE marks are Phy- 90, chem 93 & bio 94. i.e. 92.33 % . Is there any chance for me to get admission in Govt. Medical colleges or in Self financing colleges in Kerala. Please do inorm me the staus

You may get some Govt seat in a Govt College or Govt Supported SF College if the trends of 2008 continues as such in 2009. See the last ranks of 2008 admissions at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/allt/FinalPhase/lrank_221008.pdf to get an idea.

Nothing can be said with certainity about your chances of admission. To know the trends of first allotment, see the link http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/allt/170708/lrank.pdf which gives the last ranks based on the first allotment of 2008. Things can be different this time.
