If you go through the last ranks you will get an idea of allotments of 2008 based on which you would get some idea on chances of admisison, which need not be correct always. There are no seats offered without any fee in any college. There is no payment seat also under CEE allotments. MG stands for Management seats in Govt Supported SF Colleges. There is one college offering Aeronautical Engg and Food Technology. No candidate with this rank under BH got MBBS seat in 2008. i stand good chances for getting an admission in cusat,tkm and other engineering coleges in kerala.
which college would you advise me to opt for? some people told me to go for cusat while others told me cusat is of no good. i am really confused and i humbly request you to give me your personal ranking of the engineering colleges in kerala.

The ranking given by another person should not influence your slelction since you have to do the course. TKM Engg college is an old college which is in high demand among Engg aspirants as is evident from the last ranks of allotments by CEE. It wil not be a bad choice. In CUSAT there are two Engg Colleges. The one at Thrikkakara is a prefered college. There are other departemtns also at CUSAT running Engg courses. The course you get may also be a factor in deciding the college. Anyway, enquire about both colleges and take a final decision.
sir,i completed my AISSCE 12th examination nand secured 80% marks.Now i would like to join for Btech mechanical engineering.i couldnt perform well in the AIEEE examination and now i am in search of colleges which provide the course which i mentioned earlier without any capitation fees other than the usual course fee.mith 80% marks will i be able to get a merit seat somewhere?????

For getting allotment through CEE or AIEEE a rank in the concerend Entrance Examination is necessary. Even Private SF Colleges generally insisit on a rank in the Entrance for admission under Management seats in kerala. Anyway enquire about this at the Private SF Collleges in Kerala. If you are very particular about admissions, there are colleges outside the state also. Admissions under NRI category is made based on marks in qualifying examination only.

Govt Aided Engg- Rs.6200/- (including CD); Govt seat in Govt Supported SF College- Rs.6200/- (Plus CD 5000/-) Managemet seat in Govt Supported SF Colleges- Rs.65000/- (Plus CD 5000/-); Private SF Colleges- Rs.30750/- (Plus CD 10000/-) All candidates under General/Muslim/Ezhava have same fees.

The availability of seats and fee structure related to Private SF Colleges has not been announced officially so far. Last year 50% seats there were allotted by CEE after the normal allotments. See the list at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/allt/newallot1/azc_allot_291108.pdf

This cannot be known now since there is no information on the number of Muslim reservation candidates ahead of you in the rank list. Wait for a few days.

Candidates with Medical Rank up to 7758 had got allotment for BHMS in 2008. For BAMS, last rank allotted in 2008 under EZ category was 4500 (Ayurveda rank). Both can be different this time.
