i got a rank of 1444 in kerala medical entrance.can i get a seat 4 mbbs(general) in any 1 of the 5 govt.med.college or any other self financing colleges in govt.merit as per last yr allotment ?do i need 2 repeat 1 year 2 get a seat?

In 2008, candidates with rank up to 1169 got allotment in Private SF College for MBBS under Govt quota. In Govt Medical Colleges, last rank under SM category was 537 for MBBS in 2008. The last rank for BDS in Govt Dental College was 1304 under SM and that in Govt Supported SF College was 1461. Candidates in your rank range got seat for BDS in Private SF Colleges in 2008. By repeating you are losing one precious year. So why not think of joining BDS? Think over it before taking a decsion.

SM stands for State Merit. All candidates irrespective of their reservation benefit have claim for State Merit seats. Only if State Merit seat is not available will a candidate having reservation benefit be considered fro allotment under reservation category.
my cusat pg entrance rank no for M.Sc.Chemistry is44 for applied chemistry and 35 for hydro chemistry. is there any chance to get admission for this course?

The last ranks for PG admissions at CUSAT on 2008 are not available to give you an answer. You may approach the Department concerned and make an enquiry.
what is deemed university?is the courses in amrita university recognized equivalent to other university in kerala?

Deemed University is an Institution which has the status of a University. They have the freedom to frame curriculum like other Universities, conduct examinations, award Degrees etc. Generally the Degrees of Deemed Universities have approval of all statutory bodies like UGC, MCI etc. Approval of another University is matter to be decided by that University. For approval about individual course, you may approach the academic section of one of the Universities.

Last year candidates with this rank of 1762 had not got MBBS/BDS in Govt Medical/Dental Colleges. But have got allotment in Private Self Financing Dental Colleges for BDS. There is no Govt seat in 4 Chrsitian Medical Colleges which are admitting students based on their admission procedure. If you wish to be considered for seats there, you will have to apply to them

Marine engineers have openings in Shipyards, ship building units. Mechant Navy etc. It is good if you can do well in the course and have a pasion for it.
sir, my daughter got 7821 as rank in kerala eng entrance examination....But we wish her to get allotment in any of the colleges in trivandrum...will she be getting allotment to any of the colleges in tvm??? If not will she be eligible for the management fees category in SCT college TVM?????

It may be related to the branch you are interested in. The last ranks of 2008 allotments in Govt Colleges/Govt supported SF Engg Colleges is available at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/allt/FinalPhase/lrank_221008.pdf Please go through it based on the branch you prefer and see the position.

You have not specified the Stream- Engineering or Medical to make an assessment.
sir i have got 1255 as rank in kerala engineering entrance exam.i belong to general category.will i get EC or EEE in NSS engineering college palakkad?or perhaps in trissur REC?

At NSS, the last ranks for EC and EE in 2008 were 2400 and 4183 respectively. At TCR, it was 1129 (EC) and 2578.

Last rank for MBBS in Govt Medical Colleges under SM category in 2008 was 537, In Govt Supported SF Colleges, 692 and in Private SF Colleges, 1169.
