In respect of colleges that have entered into agreement with Govt in 2008, there was 50% Govt quota seats allotted by CEE and 50% allotted by the concerned Managements. Fee in Govt quota in 2008 was Rs.30750/- The fee in Management quota was higher than this.

The recent notification in the web site of the MCI says not recommended for the permission for 2009-10 for MBBS courses for Karuna and KMCT Medical Colleges.
Is it going to affect the students already joined last year for MBBS in these colleges.

New colleges have to get recognition annually for a certain period before they get permanent recognition. If a college does not get recognition, in an year, students cannot be admitted that year. It will not affect the students already admitted as per the recognition given by the MCI for that year.

The seat allotment of AIQ is going on. The seats available at the time point you report for the counselling as per your rank will be offered to you. From among those available, you will have to choose one.

The last allotted candidate under SM category for ME in MAC in 2008 had rank 2455.

Candidates with this rank under MU category have not got MBBS in 2008 in Govt seats. Last allotment under SM in GovtGovt Controlled SF Colleges in 2008 was to rank 692. In Govt seats in Private SF Colleges, last allotment under SM went to Rank 1169.
