i have secured 1462nd rank in KEAM MEDICAL 2009. I have no reservation. Is there any chance to get admissions to MBBS course since there are 100 seats increase in SM +50 seats increase in a new college(Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences)?Pls answer.

Availability of seats for KEAM 2009 is not yet known. You will have to wait for some time for that. In 2008, last allotment under SM in Private SF Colleges under Govt quota for MBBS went to rank 1169. You take part in the allotment process and see your chances.

i hav got 19486 rank in keam(engg). i belong 2 sc caste(kanakkan).could u pls tel my rank in the sc category list.i hav passed +2 under tamilnadu state board but native of kerala.my father working in chennai (canara bank)bcoz of transfer frm kerala during 2005 nd wil be back by nxt one or two years.what are all certificates to be produced during admission?whether i wil be able 2 get admission in 1st allotment for ECE? I HAV GOT 90.2% IN MY 12TH STD.

Your position in category list of SC can be known only when it is published since only CEE office has information on the number of SC candidates ahead of you in the rank lists. It will be published soon. Documents needed at the time of admission is given on page 36 (Clause 11.7.1) of the Prospectus 2009.

My rank in AIPMT-2009 is 1017(UR).I did not get MBBS seat in Kerala in 1st round of counseling but I got allotement in Kilpauk medical college,Chennai.If I pay the fees in this college, during reallocation do I have to pay the fees again in the new college?

Generally different institutions collect fees individually. So if you get re-allocation to a new college based on round 2 of AIQ counselling, you may have to pay fee in the new college allotted, at the time of admisison and get refund from the former college by following the procedure for that. Anyway when you go to the first college to join, enquire about the rules related to this and also the procedure for getting refund.
I got kerala engineering entrance rank of 884. I want to join ECE. Pl. give ranking of top 5 engineering colleges in Kerala. Further, my CUSAT rank is 691. Should I give priority to CUSAT than other Kerala engg. colleges?

See the last ranks of 2008 admisison based on KEAM 2008 at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/LRANK_2008A.pdf to see the preferences of students for various colleges having ECE. That should be an indicator of the best colleges. Regarding CUSAT and KEAM allotment, you have to decide. There are a number of colleges of reputation as far as KEAM allotment is concerned and that number is just 1 in case of CUSAT allotment.
Sir,
Iam candidate of AIEEE who has secured 16245 (AIR).I would like to know the best NIT I can take considering the fact that this time there is a provision for higher options during counselling(disadvantage),increase in no of seats in AIEEE,effect of new IITs,IISERs(advantage) also considering 2nd 3rd and 4th round of counselling?

You may go thropugh opening and closing ranks of various NITs based on 2008 allotment at the link http://aieee.nic.in/ccb2009/ORCR09/Engineering/MenuEng.htm This should be a good indicator of the NITs in the order of their preference among student community.
My engng rank in KEAM 2009 is 1350.
Can I be assured of admission in NSS Eng COLLEGE PALAKKAD for EC under merit tier?Is there any management quota at NSS ENG COLLEGE Palakkad?

Nobody can assure a seat to any person until one gets an allotment. Last ranks of 2008 are only indicators of the general pattern. You get an idea of the chances of allotments as per the trends of an year which need not be correct in the real allotment. In 2008, last allotment for EC at NSS Palakkad was to rank 3531. Being an Aided College, NSS Palakkad has 15% managemetn seats

My Keam Rank good I am going to take EC College getting start from August or September so in mean time I got 2 months leisure time also I am interested to become an IAS so please advice what type tuition must I take BTech . And sort of books to select as I had planned to do IAS after my BTech ….

If you planning to join B.Tech you may try to get a syllabus of your prefered branch and go through the topics to be studied. You can go through the first year topics and get an idea of that so that you are not totally lost once you join the course and classes commence. Do not think of attending coaching classes for B.Tech before joining the course. As a preparation for Civil Services, try to get an idea of the pattern of the Examination.
