You have to see where your child comes in the rank list for NRI admisison. There is no information on the admission pattern of 2008 under NRI.

You have to register options and see how the allotment goes. In 2008, candidates within this rank range got B.VSc & AH under EZ category as per last ranks of 2008 at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/LRANK_2008A.pdf

It will be known correctly only by the time CAP starts. But a rough calculation shows that there are around 4200 seats in Govt/Aided/KAU Collegs, over 5200 seats in Govt Supported Self financing Colleges.

My Kerala Engg Entrance merit rank is 22216 and BH list, rank is 1633. As per the BH rank, is there any possibility to get admission in any Govt or Govt self financing or Private self financing college for ECE/CE/EEE branches. Thanking you and awaiting your reply,

The number of candidates qualified for MBBS/BDS in 2008 was low when compared to that in 2009. So one cannot get an idea of the chances also. Anyhow attend the seat allotment process and see.

In 2008, last SM seats for MBBS in Govt quota in Private SF Medical Colleges went to Rank 1169. It may be different this time. So take part in the CAP and see your chances.
