All the constructions that you see around have come up with the help of Civil Engineers. The Roads, Bridges, Buildings and what not. That speaks about the scope of Civil Engineering if you stick on to this area. Civil Engineers also have avenues in IT field. You may go through the last ranks of 2008 at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/LRANK_2008A.pdf to know about the colleges offering Civil Engg (CE) through KEAM.

Deemed Universities have the status of a University, granted by the University Grants Commission after a process which ensures the quality of the Institution also. They are considered to be Universities for all practical purposes like course design, curriculum design, conduct of examinations, award of Degree etc. As they have the status of a University the Degree awarded by them is not different from those awarded by Statutory Unviersities like Kerala University or MG University.
