You can register as many options required based on your choice. If there are all together 300 options available to you, you can register all the 300 options if you want. But it is not compulsory to register all. All branches in all colleges can be opted in the order of priority. Options registered within the prescribed time limit will be considered for all allotments. It will not be possible to add options that were already available, after a round of allotment. But if new colleges are sanctioned after one round of allotment, you will get the facility to register options to the new ones and place them in between the exisitng ones. You will get a clear picutre of the process once it is announced. It will be hosted in this portal also. Any doubts on it can be clarified through the 'Ask Expert' The list of colleges included in the allotment will be published in the allotment website at that time.

SIR,WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FREE SEAT & PAYMENT SEAT IN CUSAT 2009 .......WHAT IS THE FEE STRUCTURE FOR KERALA SCEDULED CASTE (KSC)
Posted by LIVIN PRAMOD, VATAKARA On 03.07.2009
View Answer
Free seat is one which has a lower fee structure as compared to the payment seats which carry a higher fee structure. The fee for SC candidatesis gvien at the link http://cat2009.cusat.ac.in/ The link says "SC/ST candidates belonging to the state of Kerala shall pay fee items not reimbursable by the Government of Kerala. They have to pay the caution deposit amount also which is refundable after completion of the course". SC/ST students are generally exempted from payment of fees.
SIR,I WANTED TO KNOW WHETHER THE FEES FOR FREE SEAT & PAYMENT SEAT IN CUSAT 2009 IS SAME ie,2145 FOR KERALA SCHEDULED CASTE (KSC).
