I have scored 22759 rank in kerala entrance exam in engineering and 3949 rank in muslim list. Is there any chance for me to get admissiom in any govt seats or govt- self financing?
How many seats are there under muslim merit?

should i register the options for keam from the alloted option facilitation centres or can i do the same from mi home internet connection?

You can do it yourself if you have the facility at home, at your convenience, within the allotted time period.

IT has to be seen after registering options at CAP. For the trends of 2008 see the last ranks of allotment s at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/LRANK_2008A.pdf Last year candidates with your rank had got allotments for some courses in Govt Colleges. There is no guarantee that it will be the same pattern this year also.
sir,
it's for my daughter.if she give e.c as first option and second option e.e at t.c.r engineering college,after second allotment or first allotment if she didn't get e.c and if she cancelled the higher option e.c will there be any problem regarding her admission?
the problem is that she has sports reservation .as per sports reservation there is a seat only for e.c.but she has a good rank in keam
and want to join e.c or ee in merit with out having any reservation,so if she cancelled the option e.c after second allotment after getting a seat for ellectrical and got e.c under sports quota wat should we do?pls pls pls send a reply soon.option registration has started.thank u

You need not worry about the reservations now. Your option is for a course in a college. When the allotment is made, all your reservation benefits will be considered. If you are eligible for merit seat, your allotment will be in the State merit quota. If there is no seat in SM category in a college that she has opted, your eligibility for Sports seat there, if it is there, will be considerd and if elgible will be allotted to your child.
Dear Sir,

The KEAM 2009 online option is to begin today. My medical rank is 412. With the above rank I think I am eligible to get a seat in MBBS in any of the govt.medical colleges.My doubt is whether I should give options to self-financing medical colleges also for MBBS/BDS.

If you arrange your options in such a manner that the Govt Medical Colleges and then the Govt Controlled SF colleges come at the top of the list and the Private SF Colleges below that, you would be safe. If you get a seat in Govt or Govt Controlled SF Medical College, you will not be considered for the Private SF Colleges. If you do not become eligible for Govt/Govt Controlled SF Colleges, you will be consdered for Private SF Colleges if that is there in the list. But if you do not have any interest in Private SF Colleges, do not include them in the options list.

There is no refundable deposit for Government seats, it is understood. But in Management seats, the management has the dscretion if the fee colleced is below RS. 75000/- as per reports.
Does the Centralised Allotment Process consider all options given by the candidate and give the allotment or does it give the allotment on getting the first available seat and then leave the rest of the options?

The options registered by the candidate are considered in the order of his/her priority. Option with the prioity number 1, if avialable will be allotted. If not, the chance of allotment for option number 2 will be considered and allotted if available. If not, this process will continue. Any options below the one allotted will be deleted from the list and any option above the one allotted will be retained for subsequent allotments if it is not cancelled by the candidate within the stipulated time. For example, if you register 100 options and you become eligible for option number 28, options 29,30,...,100 will be removed from your options list and options 1,2,3,...,27 will be retained for further allotments unless you cancel them. Partial cancellation is also permitted.
