Biochemistry is the science concerned with the study of chemical basis of life. The cell is the structural unit of living systems. It is the science concerned with the chemical constituents of living cells and with the reactions and processes they undergo. Biochemistry encompasses large areas of cell biology, Molecular biology and Molecular genetics. Biochemistry forms the basis of understanding of Physiology, Immunology, Pharmacology (the study of drug action), Toxicology, Pathology (study and diagnosis of disease through examination of organs, tissues, bodily fluids, and whole bodies) , Microbiology (the study of microorganisms, which are unicellular or cell-cluster microscopic organisms) and many other medical subjects. With more importance given to primary health care, the demand for allied health professionals has increased. They are in demand in hospitals, health maintenance organizations, community clinics, school systems, and long-term care facilities.

See Page 15 of the the last ranks of 2008 . The possibility of admissions in 2009 cannot be predicted now.

If it is Engg, it is Rs.25,000/- in Govt Supported SF Colleges and Rs.35000/- if in Private SF Colleges.

Sir suppose I'm getting a seat in the first allotment and I'm not cancelling my higher options.After the second allotment,if I'm not getting any seat in it, will the seat I recieved in the first allotment be there??when should I remitt the fee?

if you get a seat in the first allotment, you have to remit fee within the prescribed time limit. If the higher options are not cancelled, they will be considered in the next allotment. If you get a change, that will have to be accepted. If you do not get any change, the first allotment will be retained.

As many options as there are in your Home Page. If there are 200 options you are eligible to register all the 200 options.
sir i am unable to login though after entering all the details correctly after verifying it more than thrice.whom i have to contact to get this problem rectified?as only 2attempts are remaining so i am afraid to proceed further.if all attempts gets exhausted then how to give options.expecting a speedy reply.

Thank you for your quick response to my previous question. this time i would like to know about the fee structure in the govt seats(which is 50% of the total seats available) in the two co-operative med colleges.(the kochi med colllege and the paryaram med college). please do reply as soon as possible.

The fee for MBBS at CMC Kochi and AMS Pariyaram) would be Rs.25,000/- for BPL category (10 seats), Rs.40,000/- for SEBC (13 seats) and Rs.90,000/- for State Merit seats. It would be Rs.4,50,000/- for the 35% Management seats. In 2008, the fee in the 50% Government quota was Rs.25,000/- and that for the Management seats was Rs.4,35,000/-

All the three branches have scope. Comparatively EEE has slight edge over other branches now a days, which may change after four years-the time you pass out. Don't worry over this. Civil, Electrical and Mechanical are core branches the demand for which will not vanish. All the best.
