Dear Sir/Madam,

First of all thanks for answering my previous questions. Sorry for being elaborate on this questions. I am really confused with the new fees policy in KEAM medical.
Looking at the last year allotment pattern I have chance for getting in to MBBS in Pvt SF or BDS in Govt colleges. As I prefer to do MBBS I have given priority to Pvt SF colleges after the govnt colleges and govnt SF colleges.
Let us say I had given choice 1 to Pvt SF college �A� and then to college �B� and �C� respectively by assuming that I will get the SEBC fees. As the fee for general seat is higher in Pvt SF colleges some students under general category would have given preference to Govt BDS seat than MBBS in Pvt SF compared to last year. Because of that I may get in to college �A� itself but I may not come under the 26% of SEBC student fee for college �A� because of lower rank which is at higher risk for me as I can�t afford such high fee. If I was in college �B� or �C�, I may be in SEBC fees itself. Any idea how CEE controller going to attack this issue? Because of that I don�t know what preference to give among Pvt SF colleges.

It will be great if can give an answer to this early as i have to fill the options. If not please let me know whom I can contact for the same.

The persons going to get the concession in fee will be identified only after the allotments. So it all depends on the students being admitted there and the pattern of admissions at that college cannot be foreseen now. It will depend on who gets into the different colleges. This is a very difficult situation and it seems nobody will be able to say how it will turn out.
Sir there is any preference to
polytecnic students in engineering.
Is there any spesial entrance for them?

There is no preference for Polyechnic students in admission to First Year Engg Course. But Poly students can attend the lateral Entry Test for admission directly to the 3rd Semester/second year B.Tech where seats are reserved for them.

There is not a clearcut categorisation of branches to select some as "BEST". But considering demand from the part of students and employers as well EC, ME and CE stand good. Note that it is your aptitude and interest which is most important.

Option registration is now going on. Register options before the trial allotment to be held on 12th July so that you can know the chances for allotment. You can see the trends of 2008 by going through the LAst ranks of 2008 available at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/LRANK_2008A.pdf
sir,cusat published its final allotment list.my name is not there.i am having a rank 2462,abd a reservation rank of 273 under muslim...is there any chance of my name being there in the subsequent allotment.and can u please tell me when the next allotment list will be published

Both are self financing medical colleges in the private sector and there is no official rating to give an answer for you. See the last ranks of last year given in the CEE site for an analysis.

If i get admission in the first allotment,do i have to remit the fees if i dont want to join in that college...If i had not remitted the fees will i be eligible for the 2nd allotment?

A candidate getting allotment in first allotment will have to remit fee. If you do not remit fee, you will lose the allotment and will not be able to continue in the process further. If you are not willing to take an allotted options, you should not register option for that college. Register option only if you are ready to accept the allotment.

Dairy Technology deals with the technical and quality control aspects of the processing industry, including research and development. In the Dairy science & Tech course, the curriculum covers basic principles of animal nutrition, physiology, lactation, genetics, reproduction, and enterprise management. The curriculum covers natural sciences, animal biology, breeding, reproduction, nutrition, finance, and information management. The course focuses on milk and milk-derived food products from a food science perspective. It studies the biological, chemical, physical, and microbiological aspects of milk and the technological processing aspects of transformation of milk into its various consumer products, including beverages, fermented products, concentrated and dried products, butter and ice cream.

Job opportunities are available in National Dairy Development Board, Dairy Development Departments, dairy plants, dairy farms, cooperatives, rural banks, milk product processing and manufacturing industries, and organisations like Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (MILMA). Self employment is also possible. Research and development, and teaching are other options.

It is understood that after the commencement of the course if you discontinue study at the present college , the entire fee for four years will have to be remitted. And the date of beginning of course is fixed as August 17. ( Expect that you have joined in a private SF college).

The date of opening of engg colleges is not officially announced.
