Electronics & Instrumentation provides knowledge and skills in understanding and applying instrumentation to measure precisely, record and control process variables (such as flow, temperature, level and pressure). Control, through the application of automation techniques and computer-aided processes, works to keep these variables at desired levels of safe, economic and other constrained values. Control and instrumentation engineers research, identify, design, install, purchase, develop, test and maintain instruments, electronic devices and computer control systems in process industries. Graduates find opportunities to work in manufacturing industries such as oil refineries, fertiliser units, pulp and paper factories, iron and steel works, engineering firms, mining industry, processing industries, and gas plants, as well as in consulting firms.

Jobs for IT Graduates are basically in Software Companies. But the use of this technology has spread to almost all areas so that jobs are there in almost all areas in the Governmetn and Private Sector. It can be Govt Depts, Banks, Insurance, Railways, Space Technology. Administration etc to name a few in the Govt sector. About the Private Sector, you hear about IT companies regularly.

The final seat availability is yet to be announced by the CEE
in keam medical option registration there is no space providing for the govt seats in self financing colleges like amala,mes perintalamana and otherself financing colleges.there is only one coloum provided..but in pariyaram and cochin cooperative colleges there is two coloum for management and govt seats.what to do if i want to give option for govt seat in perinthalmana mes....

It seems you have missed these entries in the list. Amala is not included in the list of options as it does not take students from CEE allotment. But EMC (MES Perinthalmanna) and other Private SF Medical Colleges are there in the list. See the list under "Medical - Pvt. Self Financing (Govt. Seats)". Pariyaram and Cochi Medical appear seperately under "Medical - Govt. Sponsored Self Financing Colleges "

I have registered options for my daughter in Engineering stream.Now I wants to re-arrange the prorities that already registered.A list showing the registered option is displayed at the bottom of home page.Is it the right place to re-arrange the options?Or any other proceedure is there for change of options?Sir, kindly help me.thanks..

What you have noted is correct. The option list formed at the bottom of the page is the place you have to visit for re-ordering the options already registered.

Applied Electronics & Instrumentation is a branch of study that goes deep into the subject of electronics in general, and offers specialised knowledge and skills relating to instrumentation. An in-depth study of electronics and its several applications is essential for the design, use, maintenance, and protection of electronic devices including instruments. The link http://www.geckkd.ac.in/departments/aei/index.html gives a syllabus of the course. You can go through that to see the topics you study in the course.

You can log in any number of times and update your option list till the closing of option registration which is 1 pm on 14.7.2009 as per the Notification of CEE.
