There is no probelm in registering all the options if you are ready to acept them if allotted. You have to accept an option registered, if it is allotted.
i got a rank of 5060 in kerala engineering entrance. but i have not been included in the trial allotement list published. will i get a seat in Kothamangalam ma college for civil?????

You did not get a trial allotment since you might not have become eligible for an allotment based on the options registered. Go through the last allotments of the trial allotment given at http://cee.kerala.gov.in/capresult2009trial/main/lastrankdetail.pdf and register more options if needed.

As per the information available in the Notification of CEE at http://cee.kerala.gov.in/capresult2009trial/main/enoti_210908.pdf these institutions have not got the renewal of permission to admit students, from Central Council for Indian medicines and Govt of India.

There are certain seats reserved for Minority Communities in some Institutions having Minority status. It is 20% of the 50% Government seats. Community Certificates are to be submitted for being considered for allotments to such seats. If 607 is your state rank in AIEEE, it is understood that the OP allotment under HS cateogry at NIT Calicut in round 2 AIEEE allotment went to State Rank 472. In TVE KEAM allotment, the trends will be known when the trial results come out on 12th July. Last ranks at KEAM 2008 are available at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/LRANK_2008A.pdf

i want to knw, how is students selected from reservation catogories to the admission in kerala b tech admission. i mean what is the ratio of general to reservation catogory.ie many of the students belong to reservation catogory will be alloted as general . how it is done?

Allotments are based on ranks. Seats have been earmarked for State Merit and also for reservation categories. Allotments are made in order of rank first to state merit. Candidates with reservation benefits also if eligible for admissions under state merit will be given allotment under state merit only. When state merit seats are exhausted, those with reservation benefits alone get allotment. If there are 64 seats for State Merit, first 64 candidates in order of rank opted for the course will be allotted under merit even if they have reservation benefit. The next 36 seats will go to those candidates having various SEBC/SC/ST reservations.

The last ranks allotted now have been made available in this portal at http://www.mb4education.com/static/downloads/LRcusat100709.pdf . See that to get an idea of the chances. There might be one more round of allotment which has not been announced.
