sir,my sister got her 9th option for MBBS.we rang that college to ask about their fee.they told us that we have to pay 1Lakh as admission fee during admission,and if we decided to change the college, they maynot repay that amount.sir is this true?is second allottment will be before the admission date?please reply sir,our hope was bpl seat,now wer in shock.

You have to pay the fee at the bank as given in the allotment memo.Subsequently you have to join the college on the stipulated date when you will have to pay the admission fee, Caution deposit (Which may be around Rs.10000) etc. Admission fee cannot be a lakh of Rupees. The fee paid by you to the CEE account will be transfered to the college only on closing of admissions.

in cusat, a waiting list for B.tech is published. It is for what? whether there is a second allotment after first allotment:

A Notification related to waiting list is seen published for B.Tech Lateral Entry admissions, at http://let.cusat.ac.in:8080/let/waitinglist_notification Details are available there. The admission for the regular B.Tech course is going on. The possibility of a second allotment is there. Notification may be published after first round admissions.

sir, i have KEE rank 2236 . I got EC @ IDK in 1st allot. sir i do prefer to join NSS where 1st allotment last rank is 1821 and previous year(2008) final allotment last rank is2400 .is there any chance for me to get EC @ NSS.

This cannot be predicted since the options of candidates ahead of you in rank are not known. So we have to wait for the next rounds.. There would be some changes any way.

sir.please give the last ranks state wide, under SM category for various Engineering branches as per the first allotment 2008 (course wise)

Should we delete higher options for second allotement in case we do not require further a change in college? How to delete higher options ? please reply

You will be given a speicific time period when you can alter the higher options left. If you are fully satisfied with the first allotment and do not wish to have a change at all, you can delete all the higher options left in your Home Page during the permitted time period. This is usaully done by entering the number 0 (zero) in place of the exisitng number, against the option concerned, in the box to the right of it and then clicking the 'update' button. All directions will be available during this period.

My rank in kerala med is 8194 and my category rank is 293(SC).I didnt get the first allotment,is there any chance of getting a seat for BHMS in the second allotment.
Can I hope or should i join any other course?

We have to wait and see since the options of candidates ahead of you in rank are not known. There would be changes in coming rounds. So be optimistic.
Sir,
Kindly give your valuable advice to help me to take the correct decision. That my son has got allotment for CS branch in Coll.of Engg,Kottarakkara under mgmt fee(Rs.65000.00) through KEAM 2009. As he had studied in karnataka for the required years and being son of the central govt.employee working in the state, he had appeared for the Karnataka CET and got seat in Anjuman Engg.collage,Bhatkal for EE branch which is likely to be changes to Mech during the casual vacancy round to be held during 1st week of Aug.The fee for the course here in Karnataka is Rs.28090.00 per year.The college (Anjuman) he has presently been allotted is an old college but not one among the most preferred ones. My dilemma is should he join in Karnataka or kerala.Please do help by extending your valuable advice on the matter.

It is desirable to take a decision based on the branch preferred by the child. If the child has a passion to do ME, then the decision should be on that line. It is always believed that 'older the college, better is the college'. Fee at Karnataka is also comparatively low. So consider the preference for the branch and also the fee structure and take a decision.
