Mechanical Engineering is the study about the Manufacturing Process, Machineries design , implementation and maintenance. It concentrates on research , development , design , manufacture , and testing of tools , engines, machines , and other mechanical devices . It includes study of internal combustion engines, steam and gas turbines, thermal power plant machinery, refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, machine tools, material handling systems, elevators and escalators, industrial production equipment, and robots used in manufacturing.Mechanical Production is an interface of Mechanical Engineering and its specialised domian of production engineering . Production Engineers deal with Manufacturing and effectively managing the Production sectors in the industries and also work in the R & D sector. The curriculum aims at development of analytical approach, managerial skills, entrepreneurship qualities, technical knowledge and gives updated and practical hands-on experience to work with typical machineries from basic machines to computer controlled machines.

i like to know wheather civil engineering is more of drawing, i am not a good drawer but i like things about construction etc. should i not choose civil as i am not a good drawer

You cannot completely stay away from drawing. But it is not a must that you must be very good at drawing. In the age of Computer Aided Design you can compromise to some extent on this.

i got govt. seat for EC in KMCT college of engineering for women,mukkom,kozhikode.it is to be staretd from this academic year.
Is this college got aproval from AICTE
and Calicat University.I didn't find this college in the list of colleges which is under calicat university in the univ. website.

It is understood that CEE has allotted candidates only to colleges that have the approval of the regulatory bodies.

sir,
thankyou so much for clearing our doubts. In the clause 13.3.(g) of KEAM Prospectus 2009 it is given that candidates had to submit Physical Fitness Certificate. wheather this is applicable to engineering candidates also.

The fee has to be paid in one of the identified branches of State Bank of Travancore. The list is given at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2009/cap/first/sbt_list.pdf You go to the bank with the allotment memo downloaded from the website and fill up the chalan if it is there or else act as per the directions given by bank authorities.

As long as CEE makes allotments, branch change can be expected through re-allotments only. CEE will make one more allotment to private SF Colleges. After that the concerned colleges will fill up vacant government seats. At that time, you may approach the college authorities and represent your case.

You go through the last ranks of the first allotment and see the student preference for the colleges in question and decide based on that.
i have passed 12TH from isc syllabus with 93%aggregrate...
will i get the cental sector scolarship announced for btech for btech if yes how can i apply
is it only for cbse students

Announcement has come only from CBSE. ISC students will also be eligible for the scholarship. You may approach the institution where you completed the course for details.
