is there any information about how many students has joined the cusat b techcourses ? is there any vacancie of seats ? will there be a reallotment ? unfourtunately there is no information in cusat website,medias, news papers . as a fact that the date ofjoining for first alloted students has been over on 20/7/2009.sir ihere by request u to have an answer regarding these queries.

As you said, the CUSAT authorities have not been helping the student community with the proper information at the proper time. There is no information available on the querries raised by you. In all possibilities there should be another allotment since there is a very small chance for all the candidates to have joined in the first round admission.

please tell me whether SCT a purely govt / govt aided/ goVT supported self financing college....and is there any declaration that it will consider only 2 allotmnts

SCT is a Govt Controlled Self financing Engg college. So it does not come within the purview of Private SF Engg Colleges having only two allotments,

do i have any means to access the placement statics of tkm engineering college.i've looked the college website and it isn't available & i also doesn't have any contact with the college authorities or former students. could u please help me in the matter..atleast the no: of offers they got or even placement percentage.hope u won't dissapoint me...all other colleges provide these things in there website

Dear Vaisakh, It seems you stay at Kollam. Why not you make a visit to the College and see the faciltiies there. You can meet the placement officer of the College also who will be able to guide you on the placement scene there. Please do this.

I am allotted to mechanical engg course at Sree Narayana Gurukulam College,Kadayiruppu. I would like to know whether the fees i remmit through SBT will be refunded in case i join another institution which is not in the government list. And if so how can i collect it back.

The amount paid by you for the first allotment will be refunded to you if you do not join that college. The refund may take some time. Anyway you will get it straight from the office of CEE by post.

If you do not join in Private SF Engg College based on second allotment, you will lose the allotment and you will be out of CEE allotment. You will get back the fee remitted. Even if you join, you will not have higher options. Candidates getting allotment to Private SF Engg Colleges in second allotment are not eligible for higher options. This is clarified in Page 2 of the notification at http://cee-kerala.org/engmed/2009/cap/cap_mnoti.pdf

My daughter got Engg.first allotment in CS branch. After completion of the study period if any hope to get job opportunities in Govt / Bank in Kerala? According to my knowledge most of the Computer Science & Engineering students are getting offer from Private companies through campus placement services. Please give me some more guidance for this branch or give signal her to change the branch for next allotment ?

Dear Mr. Vijayan. We can understand your anxiety. But see, how can we predict the job potential of CS (or any other branch) after a period of four years. At present CS is not bad. As you told private companies including banks recurit CS and EC people. Be optimistic and proceed. Good Luck.

The normal duration of an MBBS course is applicable for those going for the course after BAMS.

This cannot be predicted. You may go through the last ranks for these two options in the first allotment. If it is close to your rank, there should be a good chance but no guarantee.
