If we get 50% Marks in the Entrance exam conducted by The kerala dental college management association, (Like COMEDK in karnataka), will it be considered as the eligibility for BDS managment seat?

If the exam conducted by the association is approved, that would be sufficient.
Sir,
My sister got admission in a dental college in kerala, through management quota.She is not having 50% marks in the kerala entrance exam eventhough she is having 87% marks in the Plus two.

But I came to know that it is mandatory to get 50% marks in the KEE and meanwhile some students are expelled from MES medical college and colleges at trichur for the same reason (for MBBS not for BDS).

In the light of above, could you please give proper guidance for the following matter?

In the case of BDS Managment seat admission, is there a requirment of minimum 50% marks in Kerala entrance? (Or only for MBBS?)

If we get 50% Marks in the Entrance exam conducted by The kerala dental college management association, (Like COMEDK in karnataka), will it be considered as the eligibility for BDS managment seat?

Is NRI seats are exempted from the Entrance exam minimum mark criteria?

Is this rule putforward by dental council or kerala govt?

Eligibiliity conditions are same for Government quota and Management quota. These are the rules of Dental Council. For NRI, they need not write Entrance but the eligibility of Plus Two marks is same as in case of others.
Please tell me when the second allotment starts?

What is the income limit for merit cum means scholarship now?2.5 lakhs or 4.5 lakhs? Am eligible for current year but the renewal application should be submil before 15th aug 2009.My 1st year (Am currently doing my btech)result not come yet.what should ido?pls givme a good reply..

As per information given at http://minorityaffairs.gov.in/newsite/schemes/scholarships/mcmFAQ.pdf the income limit is 2.5 lakhs. You may have to contact the office concerned where you have to submit the application, for getting a clarification as to what is to be done if the results are not out by the time you apply. One way of overcoming the problem is to provide the available marks for the first year which may be internals,provisionally with an undertaling to provide the University marks as and when it is available. This has to be accepted by the authorities ccnerned.

This cannot be predicted. The last rank for CS under SM in MCT in first allotment is 11816.

i got a rank of 2800 n the last rank for ee in tcr is around 1700

If you are interested in Chemical Engg , it is good for you. The chance for a movement to EE at TCR in 2nd round cannot be predicted. Wait and see.

If you are allotted to MBBS/BDS, the date for reporting to College for admission to MBBS/BDS is 27th or 28th July 2009

First of all thank you very much for my earlier message reply.
I saw one of the Private Self Finance Engineering Colleges web site their fee per year collected last year 2008 is Rs.38,700/- for CET Quota, What is this CET Quota ? whereas KEAM 50% quota allotment fee mentioned Rs.30,750/- + their normal admission fees, caution deposit etc. Management quota is showing RS.65,000/- last year.
Like that I am too much confusion, This year KEAM allotment fee Rs.35,000/- mentioned in the home page allotment. While taking admission, we have to pay admission fees, university fees, PTA fund, Caution Deposit, Transportation Charges etc. (If hostels we have to pay hostel fees)
Please give some guide for me while taking admission maximum fees in this year in the college. (all together)

CET may stand for Common Entrance Test is some context. This terminology is used sometimes for KEAM Entrance by some people. That is all. CET quota thus stands for allotment of CEE it is understood. The Caution deposit for Engg in Private SF Colleges is fixed as Rs.10000/- Amount of Admission fee is not specifically mentioned. It may be a few hundreds. So is the University fee. As usual the various items of fee itslef is not definite.
