As per the college's official website, the college has four hostel blocks - two each for boys and girls, each with an intake of about 150 inmates. The Ladies' Hostel is opposite to the college campus and the Men's Hostel is at a walkable distance. The college bus is also available for hostel inmates. The hostel has a reputation of providing one of the best mess in Kerala, with minimum expenses. The hostel provides a homely atmosphere ideal for studies and recreation. Both the hostels also provide sports facilities and health care viz basketball courts, exercise equipment, volleyball courts etc. Facilities for entertainment are also provided with a stocked literature and technical library. Admission to the hostels is confined to the students of Government College of Engineering, Kannur. Students are admitted to the hostel according to the rules framed by the college council. The mess committee is selected from the inmates from time to time and is in full charge of running the mess.

ijoined in self financing college for mbbs under merit seat.my rank in aipmt is 3056.i wamt only mbbs seat.if they offer bds seat can i reject the seat,if so may iget chance to participate inextended round of councilling.i am very affraid to cancell the seat alloted in self financig medical college.expecting your valuable advice. we are going to madrass tomorrow for concilling so plz soon

As on today (02-08-09) there are 811 seats vacant in MBBS on all India basis, including 45 seats from Kerala. When the last allotment completed on 1st August , the Last Rank allotted in the Un Reserved category is 1623. As such if you get allotment for BDS it is better for you to join . If you get higher option afterwards, it can be changed, it is understood. Anyway when you go for personal counselling at Madras, you can ask about it to the authorities and get a clarification. We cannot predict the allotment. Anyway the second allotment will be announced on 6th August. Till then wait. Hope for the best. Normally, BPharm is considered to be having more scope than BPT. It may not be so always.

University of Calicut is a statutory university with UGC approval and grant. The certificates of this university are equivalent to any other uty certificates. What actually you intend to ask ? Govt engg college at Trichur is affiliated to University of Calicut.
i dont have any reservations. i got in lbs,tvm in first allotment. i have to go for admission in 10th. is there any need to produce income certificate? can u please tell me?

If you don't have any kind of reservation you need not submit the income certificate.

For both courses the qualifying examination is plus two. For biotech there are two streams. One is BTech biotch and the other is BSc biotech. Anyway you have to pass plus two with good marks to apply .

wat is the basic differance between a marine engineer and naval architect.i've heard a marine engineer has to be on sea for months on ship.is it the same case with a naval architect as well?????

Jobs of Marine enginner and Naval archtect are entirely different. While marine engineer needs to be in the ship, naval architect can function from the offshore itself. architecture related to navy/merchant navy will come under the jurisdiction of a naval architect. a naval engr can become a naval architect also.
Sir,I saw in kerala engineering prospects 11.7.1 that candidate who get allotment will have to produce the certificate to prove the date of birth .is I can use my S S L C certificate for this purpose? and I have one more question ,is the caution deposit and admission fee for the self finance engg college is different for different colleges?

SSLC book is thebset proof to prove the date of birth,.
