There was a misunderstanding. I have asked you about the College of Engineering, Kottarakkara, Kollam (CEK), but you have given me a reply for College of Engineering, Kallooppara, Pathanamthitta (PTA). Let me repeat my question :
My son got admission in CEK, Kottarakkara. Would like to know whether hostel facility is available in this college since I could not find anything regarding this in their web site. If yes, would you be able to tell us approximately how much would be the hostel fee? I would also like to know whether any advance amount is to be deposited for the hostel at the time of admission. Thank you

As you rightly pointed out, it was an oversight. When a lot of questions come, we will be forced to give the replies as quick as possible. It was that haste which makes these oversights. Sorry. Now let us come to the question.

College of Engg, Kottarakkara, which is under IHRD, has no hostel facilities. For girls there is is a working women's hostel run by private parties. Boys stay as paying guests in local houses. Such facilities are there. For any clarification you can contact the principal of the college over phone , the numbers of which are available in their site. OK? Wish you all the best.

i got eee in MAC kothamangalam through 2nd allotment. but i want to be in tcr gec.
is it possible to be absent in MAC college till i get eee in tcr?
is MAC a good clollege?
among aided/gov , which college is best? if i study eee , can i get job in isro ? is eee a good branch?

You have to join the college allotted to you ( MAC) . If you get TCR engg college ( if it is there in the higher options list) you can get back all the certificates and TC from MAC and join TCR. About college. MA College Kothamangalam is one of best three aided engg colleges in the state. You are lucky in getting selected to MAC. TCR is not bad academic wise. But comparartively MAC has good dicipline and faculty. It is a well established college. Don't hesitate to join there. Wish you best of Luck. In the present global scenario no branch is considered good or bad. But taking into consideration a scene after four years by when you pass out EEE , there will be enough potential. Go ahead with confidence and study well. Don't waste time . After joining the college , keep in mind that you should pass each semester with better marks. Don't talk about supple. That will be a complement in campus placements.

I want the link of last ranks of the second allotment of 2008.usually when can we expect the last allotment? will it be before the starting of classes???

It is available in the link www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2008/allt/round2/last_rank_P2_310808.pdf The present rank list has validity till 2009 October 31. As such thedate of last allotment cannot be predicted. See the CEE site for lasr details.
sir u havnt answered any of my questions.i think u r busy with entrance alotmnt related doubts.pls answr this qstn. i heard dat only people getting a 70% or more are eligible for getting a GATE score card.so i want to knw whthr all students getting a score card is eligible for stipend or not? pls giv me a relevant site to clarify evry doubts regarding GATE

It depends on the availability of vacant seats. Normally there will be vacancies and a third allotment will be announced by the CEE. Wait for some time.

For my engg admission , to prove my date of birth which certificate shall I submit my 10th pass certificate or the corporation birth certificate .

Both are valid. If your 10th certificate carries your DOB , then it will do the purpose.

Chemical engg at both TKM and TCR engg colleges are of very good quality in nature. After completing BTech there is potential for higher studies abroad. Chemical industries, SAIL,pollution control board, etc need chemical engineers. Recently environmental engg/ecological studies are emerging as a potential areas. To control pollution all industries need chemical engineers.
When will be the 3rd allotment to kerala MBBS expected? Is there any chance of getting sizeable vacant seats normally for MBBS?

Chances for getting sizable vacant seats for MBBS are normally less.
Please clarify whether vacant medical seats in kerala against all India quota will be considered against State Merit.
