Sir,
I belong to sc community in the caste "pulluvan" . I produced scheduled caste certificate in the keam format as "pulluvan" frm the tahsildar. And i am allotted to kannur engineering college.
Now only I saw that in the community list published in the cee site,the caste given under my name is "palluvan". I am tensed whether it will create any problem for my admission to the college.
If so what should I do?
Plz reply urgently.

Don't get tensed. The concerned order of the govt of Kerala reiterating the status of PULLUVAN is reproduced below with GO numbers. There won't be any problem at the time of admission. If anything like that happens, you may show them the GO number and all other details. Be bold and go ahead with strong steps. Wish you all the best.

while admission at cuiet on 10th. , they asked income certificate because my daughter is in bh catagory(scbc). how can i produce the income certificate of a past date from village officer. is the income certificate must. whether xerox copy is admissible. i am not claiming any fee concession.

Dear Narayanan, If they asked for income certificate xerox copy won't do the purpose. You need to produce the original. Village officer can assess your income based on your assets and agriculture land. If you are an employee copy of IT return/form 16 is sufficient. Thank you

it is given in the cee site that classes start on 17th.
plz clarify my doubt.

The CEE site clearly says that classes of engg course will begin on 13th August. See the link www.cee-kerala.org

i got tkm in second allotement....but have model eng college as higher option for a more demanded branch.but the only thing tat matters to me is reputation and placements...considering the 2 which one do u think is better ?reply urgently as i am planning to cancel my higher options.....

Dear Vaisakh, Both colleges are good .Which is your branch of study? No need to worry. Placements will come after the recession. To be frank, compared to Model, TKM ( govt aided) is much better, no doubt.

i've been alloted to a college under kannur university.i searched for it's B Tech syllabus.,but could get only 2nd,3rd& final year syllabus 0n university home page.what about first year syllabus(for cs)?
heard that for all branches syllabus is common for first year.is it true?
also do all universities in kerala have common syllabus for first year B Tech?

also please do mention about yhe standard of kannur university,with respest to it's quality of syllabus for btech,it's curriculum,it's recent year btech results etc............

Being a native of Kannur you know the colleges under the present Kannur University were under the Calicut University till a few years back. Almost all the colleges are running with good reputation. Don't worry too much about it.

The syllabus of BTech is being changed from this year. Hence first year syllabus won't be there. It will be given in their website shortly, it is understood.
