sir,
In the third allotment how much difference of rank can we expect from second allotment in civil engineering?

This cannot be predicted. It depends on a number of factors. Preferences change every year. You can go through the last ranks of the second and third allotments of 2008 available at the site www.cee-kerala.org to see the pattern of 2008. It need not be like that this year.

Do not get upset. The third allotment schedule has not been announced so far. You will definitely get a chance to alter the higher options left after the second allotment, before the third allotment. This has to be done within the time limit that will be notified by the CEE. Your chances for allotment to CMC cannot be predicted. Anyway wait for the next allotment and till then concentrate on your studies. You have been allotted by the CEE. Do not get worried over the happenings.

Punnapra College is a newly started college while vadakara college is a bit old. Older the college, better is the college is the general cocept. You can also see the last ranks in the two colleges to make a comparison of the student preferences before taking a decision. .

There are no official ratings for the colleges. You can verify the last ranks in the two colleges. The student preferences for the colleges are reflected in the last ranks. This definitely must have evolved based on the facilities, placements , faculty etc.

If you want to join a course for which Degree is the qualification, you will have to complete the Degree Examination first and pass that. However, if you are trying to go for higher studies having Plus Two/equivalent as the qualification, there may not be any problem.
