Since you are CS students, it will be useful to have Industrial Visit (IV) to some computer based or electronic based industries. If you are planning a visit to Munnar also, you can have IV at All India Radio Devikulam station. You can contact the station engineer over telephone and tell him about it. There is a fixed fee for this at that station. It is @ Rs.100/- plus a nominal tax per student. If you plan to have the IV at Ernakulam itself you can contact some of the firms at Infopark, Kakkanad. OK. Proceed. Be bold and take all intiative yourself. There won't be any obstacle. Wish you all the best.

The certificate to be produced based on which inter-caste benefit is awarded is the community certificate to be issued by the Revenue authorities (Village Officer). If the Village Officer issues the certificate showing the communities of your father and mother, you will get SEBC benfit based on it. This is the existing rule. For 2010, refer to the Prosectus of 2010 for the conditions for eligibility.

It is not clear whether you have joined a college through CEE's allotment. With the assumption that it is so, we shall give a reply. For admission to the SF college you will have an allotment memo. The fee to be remitted also will be mentioned in it. At any cost you need pay only one year's fee and not full course fee.
