I would like to know wether the B-Tech Courses conducted by IGNOU is approved by HRD ministry?Recently I heard that HRD ministry had issued a notice that the Enginnering courses by Distant education is to be cancelled. Please inform me as early as possible, as my Exam time is comming soon.

IGNOU has been set up by an Act of Pariament, 'THE INDIRA GANDHI NATIONAL OPEN UNIVERSITY ACT, 1985 (No.50 OF 1985)'. There is no reason to doubt the validity oft the courses being conducted by IGNOU.

What is the Benfit behind it , if a college got this Accreditation.

sir i have joined kmea eng. college edathala for it as per the 2nd allotment my higher options are in the same collegefor ce ec and ee,can i get that in my 3rd allotment there is also information that this college is starting a new batch in eee that was not included in previous allotment process.

It seems KMEA Engg college is a college where admissions have been closed against govenment seats and as such you will not be eligible for higher options. You can visit your home page now and there may not be any higher options left there except for the new courses/colleges sanctioned in the third round.

I want to withdraw my admission from the mbbs course that I joined at calicut medical college.Could you tell me the procedure to get back Rs 25000 that I paid to kerala CEE as Iam not taking admission in any of the colleges in kearala. I would appreciate it if u could give me a quick reply because Iam asked to do this before the third allotment results are done.I am not able to get the details of the exact procedure that I have to follow.

To cancel the admissions received based on CAP 2009 you have to apply to the CEE in the prescribed format available at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2009/adm_cncl.pdf If you want to get the cancellation done fast, it would be better to submit the request directly so that postal delay can be avoided. You will get a memo of cancellation of admission from CEE office which has to be produced before the Pricipal of the college to get back the documents. Fee remitted will be refunded to you directly by the office of the CEE by way of DD/Cheque after the closing of admissions for 2009.

i got aieee rank 12526 for b.arch and am under obc..still iam not allotted in any colleges aftet 6th round..is ther any chance to get in institutional counselling which wil be done seperately..?

This cannot be predicted. You will have to attend the institutional counselling if any announced and see the chances.
My brother has 6838 rank in the Medical Entrance Exam.
Reservation - Backward Hindu (BH).
Do you have any idea about when the next allotment for medical courses will be conducted ?
Can he expect admission in Homoeo BHMS or Ayurvedic BAMS ?
Till which rank candidates got admission last year for BHMS and BAMS. ?

Third allotment will be announced on Sept 8th. The activities started yesterday.See the link http://www.cee.kerala.gov.in/keam/main/index.php In rouind 2, candidates with rank up to 4035 got BHMS under BH category and upto 3582 for BAMS under this category. Some changes can be expected in the third round also. But the extent of change cannot be predicted. For last ranks of 2008 see www.cee-kerala.org or this portal.

You need not do anything for the third round.
Dear Sir,
My son got admission to engineering (Cap II Phase) in a private self financing college and he joined in that college (One among the new colleges in II Phase). So he is eligible to give higher option in the III phase. If he gets allotment in a Government Engg college in the III phase, can he join in that college? Will he get his TC from the present college without paying the whole fee for 4 years? Can he get back the fee allready paid in the colleg?. Expecting a detailed reply,

There are 14 colleges in the third round in the Private SF sector where candidates are eligible for higher options to Govt/Govt Controlled SF Colleges. The list is there at www.cee-kerala.org If your child is in that college, higher options will be considered to these category of colleges. The rule regarding payment of fee for TC will not be applicable to the candidates of these colleges getting re-allotted to Govt/Govt Controlled SF Colleges. Fee paid will be adjusted.

i got admission in NSS College of Engg. for Computer Science in the Second Phase allotment. and i have paid Rs:6200/- in one of the SBT Branch.as i'm waiting for the third Allotment, i have RIT kottayam As My higher option. if i get RIT Kottayam For Computer Science is there any further Fees i have to pay in SBT on 9th-10th September for ths year or What i will do?

If you get a change of college in the third allotment for which the fee is Rs.6200/-. you need not pay any additional amount in the bank since you have already remitted Rs.6200/- based on your previous allotment. You will have to join the new college as per the schedule announced.
