My son is an engineerig student and eligible for the Central sector schlership but in the application form there is column asking `wether belonging to non creamy layer if yes attach certificate from employer.(Sch. IV-iv- (h) . In this connection I have seen your reply dt 05/09/09.
my doubt is, wether I need to furnish this certificate.If so who shall issue me a crertificate I am an ex- serviceman with income below Rs 4.5 L Forward cast. thanking you

The village officer is usually the competent authority to issue the income certificates. You will have to convince him about your income with sufficient supporting documents.
Respected Sir, Is the allotment at september 18 is only for MBBS/BDS seats? Is there any chance for fourth allotment in other courses? when will we can expect it?

For admission to MBBS/BDS courses there is a time schedule fixed by the Supreme Court. As per that order the final counselling should be completed before 30th Sept and after that date no more admissions shall be given Since the CEE is bound to obey this order Medical allotment has been expedited. But for Engg there is no such deadline. Allotment may continue till seats are filled. The present ranklist has validity till 31.10.2009.

No, this is for MBBS and BDS only.
This is regarding CUSAT, B Tech Admission: My son got rank 18331 and belongs to OBH category.He got admission in CSE at Pulinkunnu campus under sports category which is a payment seat. Now from the list of new admission, I find that a candidate with rank 18649 under OBH category was given admission to CSE at Thrikkakara Campus under free seat! Is it not injustice ? A candidate having lower rank is given free seat at Thrikkakara campus where as a candidate having higher rank is given payment seat at Pulinkunnu campus under the same category. My son is penalised because he got admission under sports quota !
Now my question is : is there any mechanism for redressal of the grievence at CUSAT ? Whom to complain and how to complain? Will there be any use of complaining? Pl guide me.

So far as your complaint is concerned please note this. This year admission process was a difficult one compared to previous years, because of simultaneous admissions at CUSAT and KEAM. Moreover, as per this year's private self financing engineering college managements' agreement with the govt, after two allotments students could not leave those colleges.(to leave they have to pay four years' entire fee in the college). Students who came and appeared for Cusat counselling were those who already joined those colleges . For them Cusat gave some time to produce TC. Even then many of them could not join Cusat for want of TC and other documents. Hence a vexed situation has arisen and Cusat could not take a decision for a number of days. As such, some mild mistakes might have crept into , if what you said is true.

Anyway, being the observers in this field , we understand that compared to previous years, this year the admission process was very transparent. For the last several years Cusat had not been publishing the list of admitted students in the website. You can take up the matter with Pro-VC or Registrar of the University for a solution. Otherwise contact members of the Syndicate. Definitely it will be solved. Even then if you are denied justice, you can contact media, especially Mathrubhumi for exposing it. We belive in positive criticism only and not blind criticism. We did criticise Cusat yesteryears for giving minimum admissions for Keralites and maximum for students from other states. Now this year it stands rectified and more than 70pc of the admitted students are Keralites. Is it a silly thing ? Hope you understand what we mentioned and proceed accordingly.

You have to ensure that the same is recognised by competent bodies. If recognised, there would not be any problem.
sir my cusat rank is 2613 in general.Sir i heard there is an another allotment .I want to know whether this allotment is for free seat or payment seat and to which branches.Is there any chance for me to get EC or CS in free seat.

As per the report at http://mb4education.com/php/news_events_details.php?nid=12926&slinkid=2 in this portal, the seats are in payment category, it is understood. Contact CUSAT for the latest position. Spot admission on Sept 16 will be for payment seats. All the remaining seats are put in payment category. Even those who did not appear for admission on that date provided they have passed plus two examination with a minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery programme (BSMS) covers areas of study such as anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, herbs, preventive medicine, siddha maruthuvam - pothu (general medicine), gunapadam (pharmacology), sirappu maruthuvam (special medicine), pillaippini maruthvam (paediatrics), noi nadal (pathology), nanju nool (toxicology), surgery, and Tamil. As per Siddha system of medicine which has been rooted in the Dravidian culture, five elements namely, earth, water, heat, air and weather of the external world and internal man are the fundamental principles of creation, preservation and destruction. The Siddha System has its own unique character in respect of physiology, pathology, pharmacology, therapeutics and geriatrics. There is a six months’ compulsory rotating internship after the four and half year academic programme. Colleges at Chennai and Palyamkottai run postgraduate programmes. The amount due to you on account of the re-allotment will be refunded to you directly by the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations after the admissions are closed for the year. It may take one or two months. You need not give any request for that.
