At CUSAT, there was a spot allotment on 16.9.09 as per the notification given at http://cusat.ac.in/cat2009_phase_vi.pdf . It is learnt that this year's BTech admission at Cusat is over.

You may not be able to do two courses simulataneously. So you first contact the institution where you are now studying and ascertain if they would permit such a thing.
Despite all controls by the government through its CAP, self financing colleges rob off huge money during the student's joining time. Fearing victimisation, no one is able to lodge a formal complaint. Can Mathrubhumi Education with its zeal for helping deserving students conduct an investigative survey, interviewing students who have taken up admission to professional colleges, and bring out the bare truths? If not, can Mathrubhumi Education help identify the concerned office(s) with which such matter could be taken up? I would be looking for your earnest reply!

"Fearing victimisation, no one is able to lodge a formal complaint". This is the main problem. Do you think that anybody will give sincere reply to the questions if such a survey is conducted. Even this year one of our Malayalam TV channels did expose the details of capitation fee being collected from students with videos of the scene. Nothing has happened. Somebody should approach the court with public interest litigation without any pre conceived notions. That is the only solution before parents and students.

You can be employed as a Nurse. If you are interested in higher studies you can do M.Sc Nursing and also do Research. You can go into the teacning profession also.
1. My daughter had to be satisfied with a BDS seat after the final allotment of CAP was declared and joined after paying the required fee. A Co-operative Medical College, in the meantime seems to have called for application for MBBS seat in Kerala with a fee structure of Rs.4.5 lakh. This admission is likely to be outside the scope of CAP. Still, if the government takes a decision with regard to fee reduction for co-operative colleges, will the benefit be passed on to candidate applying directly?
2. If she chooses to apply directly for the MBBS seat, what are the implications of her admission to the BDS course?

Things on the matter are not very clear as of now. As per the notification of CEE there would not be any more allotments to Self financing Colleges for MBBS/BDS. That means there would not be any more allotments to CMC also by CEE. The CEE also has announced that those admitted in SF Colleges cannot cancel admissions after 16.9.09. So if you opt for the Management seats there, you may have to take admission at your own risk, is seems. Similarly, the reduction in fee for Govt SF Colleges have not been announced. It is not known if the reduction will be for Govt seats only or for management seats also. You may have to wait for some more days to know the details.

Your question lacks clarity. Are you already studying for any course in any IHRD college. Pls send a clear question detailing the course you want to join, which allotment you are talking about etc. Then only we can give an answer.

It has not been announced yet. You can only re-arrange the existing options in the fourth allotment and cannot add any new ones.
When enquired at the college today, I was told that there will not be any more allotments for engineering. Your comments please. Thank you

There will be another allotment for government / govt supported self financing engineering colleges and not private self financing engg colleges.
I am completed +2. I have 82% mark. I want to study marine (ship) technology. Which department is most scope in marine department.? Pls give me full details...fees..crse durtion...
