The major exam at the All India Level for M.Tech admissions is the GATE. Other than this some states hold their entrance for M.Tech Admisssions, like the TANCET in Tamil Nadu. Some Deemed Universities also hold their entrance for their M.Tech Admissions. But majority follow the GATE score. The Engineering Services Examination, conducted by UPSC, is the one you are refering to. Details can be had from the Examination link at http://upsc.gov.in/

If you are otherwise qualified, there should not be any problelm. Generally there is no age restriction.

whether any mutual transfer is possible among the merit students after the completion of admission processes? ( for mbbs -keam )

There is no provision for mutual transfer among the students admitted to a course.
I like to take degree in ayurvedic medicine or homoeo medicine. I saw many doctors board like BHM and BAM I want to know more about it.

First you have to secure a minimum of 50 per cent marks in physics, chemistry, biology and pass the Plus Two or equivalent examination. Then to secure admission in the merit seats for BHMS and BAMS courses in Kerala, you have to appear for the state entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations. If you get good ranks in this entrance, you will be able to secure admission to these two courses. These courses come in priority after MBBS . The candidates with top ranks prefer the MBBS course. Your rank need to come after that.

You can secure admission in the management seats by paying a higher annual fee. For this also you need to qualify the entrance exam but with a lower rank. You can also explore options of securing admission in colleges in neighbouring states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. It would be better if you have a minimum 50 per cent marks in physics, chemistry and biology while passing Plus Two or equivalent examination and as you go for admissions to colleges outside the state.

Would pls let me know if the allotment in Self financing mangement seats (MBBS) is based on the state rank.. If so what is the last rank so far..? Is it fair for private colleges to acccomodate students with less than 50%? Would there be extra fees charged in cooperative collges other than the fee structure provided by govt.(4.5 lakhs per year)..like for instance for tuition fees or others?

The Colleges that have entered into agreement with the government on seat and fee have conducted a separate entrance for admission to management seats and it is understood they are admitting students to management seats based on the rank in that entrance and not based on KEAM rank. There too the minimum of 50% is necessary for Qualifying and entrance examinations. Regarding the fee in Management seats, there would be other fee like admission fee, University fee etc that the candidate has to pay while taking admissions.

Since the CEE has not announced that admissions have been closed for B.Tech, it is expected that there would be another allotment for B.Tech. There is no official announcemnet on this so far. Keep watching.
