I'm an Engineering Entrance [IITJEE , AIEEE , KEAM ] aspirant and a student of class 12 [CBSE ] and I saw your page regarding reforms in KEAM . But sir/madam , I want to know whether the 50:50 formula [providing importance to board exams also] is practically possible for the KEAM 2010, because so far I have not covered much topics for my board thinking that its marks won't be considered and I'm really confused. PLEASE HELP ME !

Your anxiety is genuine and is the anxiety of thousands of aspirants of professional education in kerala. Any change in pattern of ranking should be announced sufficiently early to equip the students to prepare in that direction. With the Entrance for 2010 announced, any announcement regarding change in pattern of ranking in 2010 at this stage will not be proper since the propsective candidates have gone about their preparations hoping that the marks in the entrance would be the sole criterion for ranking as there has been no announcements otherwise so far. So in every possibility, there might not be change in ranking pattern in 2010. But then, it is the Government to take a final decision.
I am working in BPO industry since last 5 years. I would like to take a master degree through distance education or as part time, however I am confused with the validity of the certifications. Please help me find best insititute to do masters in Business Administration/International Business/Project Management.

Courses in BPO are offered at several institutions, but the fact is that scope of BPO is getting very dim day by day.
It is heard that some changes may be implemented in KEAM2010. My son is re-repeater. Modification aired by a few is actually detrimental to re-repeaters. Can I make a representation to postpone the modifications from 2011 only. If so whom should I address?. Where can I get the existing rules?. What is the procedure for amending the same.
Pl expedite.

There is no announcement so far, on any changes in the pattern of examination or ranking in KEAM for 2010. So, as on date, it should go as per the pattern of 2009. So as of now, there is no need to make any representation. The existing pattern can be understood if you go through the Prospectus of 2009 which is available at www.cee-kerala.org If any change for 2010 is announced in due course which you feel will adversly affect you, you can then represent the matter to the Higher Education Department in Government. If that does not work, you can fight it out legally also. So wait and act.

Old Question papers of State Entrance Test is not available for sale, as such. You may have to contact students who have taken the examination in the previous years. Some book sellers bring out these question papers. This Portal has been giving old question papers in the site during a period close to the examinations. Cotact the nearest Book seller. For old Higher Secondary questions, see http://www.dhsekerala.gov.in/quespapers.aspx

For admission to an approved MBA regular or distance course , a recognised degree is the pre qualification.
My son got admission at Calicut university institute of Engg.&Technology in Electrical &electronics Engg.He is satisfied with this course &college.
Q1.At the time of admission in the third allotment,he could not locked the admission in that college. Can he lock it now and continue in the university college
Q2.In the registraion of CAP 2009 _fourth phase,can he continue in the university college by deleting higher options

Your son can delete the unwanted options now. Visit the Home page and delete all the options left if your son has joined the Engg College of Calicut University and your child is satisfied with the present allotment and does not wish to have any further movement.

In 2009, the admission to B.Sc Nursing in Govt Colleges was based on the marks in the qualifying examinations and the admission was conducted by the DME and the LBS. You can have an idea on the admissions at http://lbscentre.org/ For 2010, the admission has not been notified so far.

There is a proposal. But no decision has been announced so far on that. With the date for AIPMT announced, there are doubts if the proposal will be implemented in 2010. However, if the proposal is accepted for implementation in 2010, the position may change.
