If you wish to do Research in Computer related field after your MCA, you will have to first identify a Department of  a University/Institution which offers the Ph.D Course. There, you will have to find a supervising techer who will be able to guide you in the area of your interest. Subsequently you will have to go through the procedures of registration for Research.

Usually, the Degrees awarded by the State Universities in Kerala are recognised by the PSC. For doing degree you have to pass pre-degree or plus two. It would be ideal to do with IGNOU New Delhi. In our understanding they are offering BCA and check with them what all BSc courses they are offering and decide which one you want.
