There is a university with that name and it has got UGC approval also. But for their distance education course in BTech there is no approval from All India Council for Technical Education. That is why the college you mentioned has given a link to show media reports of a supreme court verdict which says that AICTE nod is not obligatory for a university to start a course. It does not mean that AICTE approval is not at all necessary for a university to run a technical course. Otherwise it states that to begin a technical course the university need not get prior sanction from the regulatory body. Moreover the college you mentioned has affiliation with MG University and having regular BTech courses of the MGU. Multiple affiliation may create problems. So better avoid the plan to join the distance education BTech course of the R V University at the above college. Please go through the following link for more details. http://www.holymathacolleges.com/recognition.htm

It is not clear whether you were studying in CBSE shool or you have appeared for AIPMT and got admission to BDS on that basis. There is a provision for applying to Central Sector Scholarship. For Kerala students the last date is 28 November. For details click here. http://www.mb4education.com/php/news_events_details.php?nid=14295

Your position cannot be predicted now since the spot admission is slated for 25th Nov at Trivandrum and nothing can be said about the number of aspirant students who plan to attend it. Many eligible candidates might have joined other courses and your possibility cannot be ruled out. Do attend it. Wish you all the best.
