There was an announcement made regarding the reduction of fee in Govt Supported Self financing Colleges but no orders have been issued so far in this connection. With the admission process almost completed, it is doubtful if anything would happen this year. There is another annoucement today that the fee will be reduced this year and the excess fee would be adjusted in the coming year. Details are awaited.

i am doing MBA.i have to choose dual specializations in the next year.this is my first year.one subject will be main subject.and the other will be sub subject.they are providing finance,marketing,human resource management.which one is good?.i don`t have enough knowledge about accounting.because i was Bsc chemistry.will you give me a good suggestion ?

It depends on yourself. If you are a person who is interested in numbers and interacting with others and brining them to your arguments, you may do well in marketing. Similarly, if you can have innovative approaches to identify the right person for the right job, you may do well in human resources management. These are not exhaustive requirements to do well in an area. So try to identify the person in you and act accordingly. Good luck!

I am a 2009 GATE qualified candidate. Due to some personal reasons I couldnt participate in the admission process for M tech. I heard that some talks are going on to extend the validity of GATE2009 to 2 years,as they already re-extended the GATE validity this year again to 2years. I would like to know whether any information has come regarding the same?? please reply

The normal course is to join MSc in the concerned subject if you are interested in higher studies. There are related courses like MBA that can be done after Graduation. If you are looking for a job, that can be the next course of action.
i got admission at college of engineering , tvm, for the Mtech course.i got admission before my btech resullt has published(becouse final year btech students can apply). but when the result of btech came, i failed in one paper.so icouldnt submit the certificate on sept 30 , which was the last date. but when the result of revaluation came i passed btech .i am not going in the class for 2 month.can i continue the course

This is a very special situation. The result of B.Tech was shown initially as failed and that has been rectified by the authorities after revaluation. The fault of a wrong result does not lie with you. You are there for eligible for M.Tech as on 30th September 2009. This is our view. But you may have to fight it out with the authorities. Try to contact the College first and ascertain their stand. Further course of action will depend on the stand taken by the College.

It is available at the study centres under IGNOU's Kochi regional centre.

We raised your query with Mahatma Gandhi University authorities and their reply was that currently they have the provision to admit students who passed BSc Biochemistry to BEd natural sciences. There is no term as Medical figuring with it in the approved list of courses and hence Medical Biochemistry is not recognised. If you want to be included in the list, you will have to give a representation to the Vice-Chancellor for the same.

In your own Calicut University the same is the case, (that is the authorities there told us) and Medical Biochemistry graduates cannot apply for natural science BEd. You may enquire with the public relations departments of other universities on their status in this regard. In all probability they are yet to recognise BSc Medical Biochemistry as a qualification for Natural Science BEd. Anyway, make more enquiries and give a few representations to the heads of the varsities.
