Since you have taken an Exam for admission to a course to commence in 2010, the Prospectus must be specifying a cut-off date for submission of records of having passed the qualifying exam since in most cases, appearing candidates are permitted to write the exam. So go through the Prospectus and see the condtions.

As of now, you are a student who has passed Class XII exam. You are not appearing for Class XII exam in 2010 but appearing for a paper of Class XII exam. So your year of passing should be 2009 and percentage of marks, that you got in 2009.
