In Kerala there is no entrance now for admission to B.Sc Nursing. It is based on merit in the qualifying examination.

is the reimburesement of fees submitted during 2009 allocation and not joined started ?
(of engineering seat )applied in the form downloaded no intimation so far.

i am writing this for my sister who is studying in 10th in State syllabus. She is not interested in Science, Maths and Business. She likes Economics and Computer Science. So which group should she take for joining plus1 and plus2. Kindly give the answer at the earliest.

Your sister can opt for a rare combination of Economics, Accountancy, English, Informatics Practises and second language (Hindi or Malayalam). But you will have to find out a school having this group. It is difficult to avoid Science, Maths and Business in one stroke. Another option is that your sister can opt for Commerce group and give a special request to school authorities to exempt her from Business studies and choose some other paper, like home science in its place. Try if any of these options work out or write back to us once again.
the btech degree awarded by ignou is valid all over the world as a regular btech degree?

IGNOU has presence in 36 coutries all over the world. IGNOU authorities say they haven't ever faced any recogintion problem from any part of the world. IGNOU comes directly under the Central Government and its BTech courses are equivalent to regular BTech degrees.
suppose a student gets 84/200marks in NATA exam and he is not qualified inkerala engineering entrance exam is he hasthe right to join inself financing college for B-Arch

There is no entrance in Kerala for Admission to B.Arch course. One has to clear NATA and also get the minimum marks in the qualifying exam to be considered for Architecture. The result in Engg Entrance Exam will not affect the B.Arch admission.
Please let know is there any subsidy available for the education loan i have taken during the period 2004-2009 for my MBBS education, as i belongs to a financially backward family? If possible, then how can i apply for it.?

The Calicut University Academic Council decision in this regard is given below. Hope everything is clear now. The Academic Council resolved to recognise the Degrees/Diplomas awarded by Central Universities including IGNOU, all Universitities in Kerala, Indian Institute of Technology and Indian Institute of Management Studies as recommended by the Standing Committee on Academic Council held on 22.02.2003. The decision applies to all Degrees/Diplomas under the regular stream. (U.O. No. GAI/AI/442/2001 dated 09.06.2003 and U.O. (Addendum) No. GAI/AI/442/2001 (i) dated 18.06.2003),and U.O.No:GAI/AI/4517/2001 dated 12-05-2008.

There is no authentic schools for film acting and direction in Kerala. Several small-time schools are located in cities like Kochi, Trivandrum, Kozhikode. This is a field where exploitation is very high, so recommending a name from this group is difficult. This is the age when postal training is offered in acting and direction!! So you have to personally go and find out how much truth there is in the claims of an institute.

The School Of Media Studies (SOMS) in Kochi offers avenues for acting and direction training but their full-fledged fucus is not on acting and direction. These topics are also included in their curriculum.

The St Joseph College of Comunication, Changanassery also offers courses like M.A. in Cinema where again the focus is not just on acting and direction.

Most of the institutes in Kerala are focusing on visual communication and then stray into television journalism, as in the case of Amrita School in Kochi where initially the focus was on film subjects too.

Two institutes closer home for fulfilling your ambition are Prasad Film Studio, Chennai and Adayar Film Institute Chennai.
