i have made a mistake while filling the iist 2010 application form
actually,i took a demand draft for Rs.500 from BANK OF INDIA but in the application form, i wrote it as INDIAN BANK.is there any way to change this in the application form online and take a new printout?pls help me sir.

Very bad to inform you about Yesudas`s Sapthathi. In this online section and in Mathrubhumi news paper I didn`t find anything about Our Great Legent Yesudas... It is very bad., Something expecting on his Birthday on Jan 10.

Do you like to know about State Government approval. In that case you try to contact the Director of Public Instruction (DPI) office under the State Education Department. The phone number is 0471-2325106 / 2324601. If you are not able to get the information required, pls get back to us.

My daughter is studying for plus 1 CBSE taking commerce in an affiliated school. I wated to know that whether she can change her school for plus two for same subject. Kindly answer. thank you

If the management agrees there is no problem. The CBSE board has no public examination for plus one and so the only hurdle is getting the permission from leaving school and also the joining school. OK ?

Guru Gasidas Unviversity of Chattisgarh is a central university since 2009. Before that it was a university established under the state legislation. Since you are already a graduate from that university it would be before its getting central university status.Therefore you will have to enquire this with the particular university where you want to continue your education. By the by why cant you continue your studies at the same university? If we look at UGC and DEC sites we may find it because of its present central university status. That won't do all.

No, certainly not. It is planned to be introduced from the next academic year ie; from 2011-12 year onwards.
my son had passed his technical school 10th exam. His marks are given in grade. But we have to enter % marks in IIST online registraion. How can we do this. Ple help

Grades are given based on range of marks. It depends on the exam that one has attended. Usually when Grades are given in a qualifying exam based on which eligibility is determined, the candidate is asked to produce the mark equivalent from the Board concerned. Here in case of IIST, marks of 10th is for determining the eligibility. The Information Brochure says as follows. "If a Board awards only letter grades without providing an equivalent percentage of marks on the grade sheet, the candidate should obtain a certificate from the Board specifying the equivalent marks as percentages (total aggregate in Class X and PCM for Class 10 +2, and submit it at the time of counseling. Candidates should produce equivalence certificate if required at the time of counseling". So the data to be written now when applying has to be clarified from the authorities.
