I have completed BSC in IT from Sikkim Manipal University(Distance Education). Now I am planning to do MBA from IGNOU(Distance education), after that will I be able to apply for the Government jobs or do I need to do the MBA regularly?

IGNOU's MBA (both regular and distance) is being approved by almost all the universities and UPSC. There is a standing order from the Ministry of HRD, Govt of India to all the universities to approve the MBA of IGNOU. You will get it from IGNOU's website www.ignou.ac.in

This university is among the list of the deemed universities getting plan grant from UGC. So there cannot be any problem it getting UGC approval for its courses.
I am very thankfull to u for the immediate respons.And sorry to disturbe u again regarding the same issue(Guru Gasidas University),Can u please help me to get correct infomation regarding the recoganition by UGC and other universities...i would like to do MBA from kannur univsersity.i have done GGU' s degree course between2005-08 acadamic year. Hope you will asist me reagarding this.If kannur university will not accept GGU's degree please let me know is there any way to get recoganition from kannur university and what are the procedure.....Please reply

If Kannur university does not approve your degree better try for MBA from IGNOU. Details of the course are available in the website www.ignou.ac.in

You can do it at Cusat. For identifying the opportunities in this regard with each univeristy, you have to enquire with the academic section of these universities.

Every state has its own common admission test for giving entry to MBBS or other professional course except Tamil Nadu where the admission is based on the marks in the qualifying examination ie; plus two. Besides this some prestigious medical colleges conduct their own entrance test for giving admission to MBBS like CMC - Vellore, St.Johns - Bangalore, Amrita Institute - Kochi, SRM College -Tamilnadu, Manipal Institute -Manipal etc. Moreover in Kerala there are four medical colleges run by christian managements which give admissions separetely ( from the ranklist of CEE ) . They are Jubilee Mission Medical College - Trissur, Amala Medical Colege - Trissur, Pushpagiri Medical college, Tiruvalla and Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College- Kolenchery. There is a separate entrance test by private managements consortium in Karnataka called COMEDK. Jawaharlal Institute of Post-Graduate Medical Education and Research, Puduchery (JIPMER) also conducts separate entrance for MBBS. These are some prominent medical entrance tests in South India . ( The list is not comprehensive).

Thank you very much for your valueble information regarding my enquiry about Guru Gasidas University degree .One more thing i want to know from you...In which section i have to check regarding the value of GGU certificate in other universities, and if other universities are not giving any value, is there any way to get approval or equivalency from them...please reply.

Since the chattisgarh universities were removed by the supreme court years ago, do confirm that it is not included in that list. The list is available with the UGC website. Then proceed. If it is not included in that list you can proceed. To get approval you will have to approach the university concerned where you want to join the next course.

You need to contact the academic section of the university concerned to clarify this. Logon to their sites to get the phone numbers.
i am doing 2nd BSc maths (regular) in MG university and can complete 2nd year.If i enter a job, can i continue 3rd year maths in correspondence/distance education in mg/any other recognised university.my course is not semseter.
