Usually, students admitted under Distance Education are not permitted a transfer to a Regular Course in the same University or another University. However, you may ascertain this from the institute where you are doing the course now.

i completed my Mtech in Biotechnology engg from VIT Vellore,ii want to do PHD frm a reputed college abroad and i have qualified IELTS as i want to do it in UK..My doubt is how to go about the admission process; scholarship or funding process and later visa process

The application has been received there and that they are veryfying the details given in the application. They will be verifying your eligibility etc for appearing for JEE. All applications will be scrutinised. It is a routine procedure.

I would like to know whether I can join for MSc Maths or Statistics after completing BSc Computer Science. I have learnt Maths related subjects like Basic Mathematics, Discrete Mathematics, Probability and Statistics, Operations Research and now studying Numerical Methods as a part of this BSc course. The qualification prescribed fro admission to M.Sc in Mathematics/Statistics by Kerala University is "B.Sc with Statistics or Mathematics as optional main subject under Part III securing not less that 55% marks for that Part".

B.Tech in Biotechnology is offered at SCT Engg College, Trivandrum, Mohandas College of Engg, Nedumangad, METs School of Engg, Mala, Sree Budha College of Engg, Pattoor etc. Admission to Govt seats is through Kerala State Engg Entrance. It is understood that there is no B.Tech in Bioinformatics.

You can approach any of the famous airports with the assistance of the college where you studied for course. You didn't mention the college or course and as such no furthur guidance seems impossible. When asking a doubt give all the details. OK?

You have not mentioned the course for which you want details. Anyway we , on the assumption that you are studying in plus two give the following answer. For Biotech the famous entrance is the one held by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) , Delhi. They conduct Combined Bio Tech entrance on the national level for giving admission to some institutions throughout the country. Our Calicut University comes under it. Wait for the notification. It may come in the month of January. For Forensic Science, there is a college near Mylapore in Tamilnadu which is very famous on the national level.

Hope you were a regular student. If so, you have to take re-admission for the course if you want to continue. You will have to get the permission of the College concerned and also the University. You may contact the PRO Section of the University or the Academic Section of University of Kerala.
sir,you see iam interested in biomedical engineering,i havent applied for aipmt,iit and aiims.can you tell me which entrance examination i should attend?

Did you apply for Kerala Entrance (KEAM) ? If yes, you can try for biomedical engg admission(depending on your rank in KEAM 2010) at some self financing engg.colleges. Model Engg College ,Thrikkakkara is the only college under the CEE allotment which runs this course. Sahridaya Engg college, Kodakara has this course and it is outside the purview of CEE. Pl. visit the respective websites for details. Outside Kerala there are a number of colleges offering this course. So don't worry too much.
