AS per the Information we have, You can apply for Kerala Entrance with the Senior Secondary Certificate of NIOS. Your previous question was answered at that time. You might not have referred to that reply.
I am an Engineering graduate in Electronics and Instrumentation . Is there any option for Post graduate study in distant education mode(Instrumentation ) . Whether IITs or any reputed institutes are conducting any courses of the above mentioned and if any how is the enrolling procedure.

The Continuing Education Programme of IIT Mumbai offers MTech by distance mode. For details visit the link http://www.iitb.ac.in/~cep/about/index.html There are some other universities also which offer MTech by distance education.

From the news paper i new that ministry of minority affairs provides fellowships for minority students engaging in research ( Mathrubhumi daily Date 23 dec 2009. Page 5 column 2,3). I have some doubts.
1. Which agency implement this scheme
2.What is the fellowship amount
3.Where i want to submit application
4.What are the documents i want to submit along with application

my daughter is studying in 11th standard and has taken subjects physics, chemistry, biology and maths. She wants to pursue a career in biotech. What are the scope for job in biotech sector. Also if she studies Btech-biotech what will be the other subjects she will have to study. your esteemed opinion is awaited.

B Sc biotech and BTech biotech are totally different. So without specifying the degree (BSc or BTech) the subject list cannot be given. Biotechnology is really a challenging subject especially now a days when the number of diseases are on the rise. A number of diseases like AIDS have no remedy . Biotech has a vast scope in the future.

What the IIST website shows is correct. It's on April 16. Initially they seemed to have scheduled it on April 17. Thanks for pointing out the error. Anyway we will make enquiries in this regard.

Now I am in UAE (last 3 years), and working as an Estimator/Quantity surveyor cum Auto Cad designer. but I am planning to study some related course like (Civil engineering) by distance study. Dear Anoop,

Our answer to your earlier question in this regard was this:

No. It's not a deemed university. It is a private university established by the state legislature of Government of Punjab. Click on the bottom section "UGC Notification" on the home page of the university http://www.lpu.in/ and see the UGC order in this regard and other details. Since it is recognised by UGC it must be having value.

The UGC website has listed only state universities and deemed varsities on its site. So you will not find LPU which is a private university. But the LPU site carries the UGC letter giving recognition to it, which, in usual case, need not be distrusted by any visitor to the site. Anyway if your doubt persists you may check with the UGC Regional authority at Bangalore in the address and phone number given below about the status of LPU.
