Eligibility for admission to B.Tech through LET as per Prospectus of 2009 is as follows  "Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or Equivalent and must have a minimum of 60% marks. Relaxation of 5% marks will be allowed to SEBC candidates whose annual family income does not exceed Rs.4.5 Lakhs. For candidates belonging to SC/ST community, a pass in the qualifying examination will be sufficient." For the next year, the Prospectus for 2010 has to be referred for the terms and conditions.

Regarding the two colleges mentioned, they are in the list of colleges where CEE has made allotment.

This has not been published in the University website. You will have to either contact the Academic section of Kerala University or the Department in your college to get the syllabus. Book Sellers near the College may also be able to help you. It is not known why the University is not publishing the syllabus in their website. May be because of making income for the University. How to get Syllabus for various courses offered by the University?

The  syllabus  of  the  various courses can be  had  by  submitting a request along with a    DD for RS 25/- to the ‘Director, Dept. of Publications, University or Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram - 34’.

Mode of fee payments

You can make fee payments to the University through:-

1. Chalan at the University Cash Counter or FRIENDS Janaseva Kendras.

2. Crossed Demand Draft in favour of Finance Officer, University of Kerala (Only SBT draft payable at SBT Service Branch, Thiruvananthapuram) or District Co-operative Bank DD payable at Head Office branch of State Co-op Bank, Thiruvananthapuram will be accepted.

Students from other States can send Demand Draft payable at SBI Main branch, Thiruvananthapuram and Overseas students may send DD from any scheduled bank.Add Rs.10/- as service charge while sending Demand Draft ( For example if the fee is Rs.50/-, you have to draw a DD of Rs.60/-) . Write your name and the purpose for which the DD is drawn, on the reverse side of the Draft. This is applicable when you buy application forms also.
