sir, my daughter got BDS seat last year in malabar dental college ,through entrance list. But by that time she joined for entrance coaching for MBBS courseat trissur. (she got the seat afterthird allotment).After upon received the vaccant letter, she informed to entrance commissioner that she is not willing to join in the course by registered post. Now 2 days back she got a letter from commissioner asking the explanation for not join the course.we have the registered letter receipt with us. Kindly advise me immediately what we want to do further.

Students who were not intending to join the colleges allotted in the last round were asked not to retain higher options and they were asked to cancel all the remaining higher options before the final allotment. If you have acted accordingly and cancelled all the options, it is oK. This was done to ensure that no seats under Govt quota are lost. It was also announced then that action would be initiated against those not joining as per the last allotment. IF the letter not to join the course was given to the CEE after the final allotment, the CEE would not have been in a position to fill that seat since the allotments of CEE were completed by then. This is what we can gather from your question. Anwway, represent your case with the CEE at the earliest. That is the action that can be taken now from your side.
I am b-tech final year student and my course will complete at june 2010. i want to join MBA 2010 after it and I did not apply for any entrance exam. I am also ready to stydy india or abroad. Is ther any entrance available? How i get admisssion?

The next Management Aptitude Test conducted by AIMA will be held in May 2010. This is the eligibility test for MBA in many Institutions, the details of which you can get from the link http://www.aima.org/

You have to do a three year Diploma to become eligible for admission to the B.Tech Programme, Direct admission or Lateral Entry Admission.

Biomedical Engineering course in Kerala is available at Model Engg College Ernakulam (IHRD) and at Sahrdaya College Thrissur. At Model, the fee in 2009 was Rs.25000 for Govt seats and Rs.65000 for Managemet seats. At Sahrdaya, it was around Rs.50000/-
i got admission private med college in keam 2009 under ezhava reservationi.i dinit get any information about fee concession from official website.where should i look.can u give any information pls help me

There were 2 vacancies for the Post of Demonstrator in Computer Engineering- Technicnical educatinon when the Notification was issued. For INSTRUCTOR GRADE II IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, the no of vacacny when Notification was issued was 3. This might have changed subsequently. The Results are published at http://www.keralapsc.org/ You can check at this link for the latest position. The PSC does not announce in advance, the date of publication of the rank list.
Sir I would like to get a transfer from my current school to the one in my hometown of the same management.
I am currently in 9th standard.
Is there any constraint in doing this as we are now being subjected to CCE?

It can be done. The current school can transfer the CCE reports of you along with the Transfer Certificate to the school you want to join.
When the examination resulf of B.Ed,(commerce) conducted in October 2009 by Calicut University will publish?

It will be available on the Calicut University website as soon as it is published. The university doesn't prefer other sorts of enquiries in this regard. You check the website on a regular basis. If you are thinking about some additional courses other than those related to the normal courses of study, it may be too early to do some course outside the class hours. Let her concentrate on the normal course work now. You can think of something additional during the vacation after Class X. Computer courses will be an added advantage for any one these days.

If there is a provision for grace marks in CBSE for sports achievemnets (this has to be verified from the school), you will have to proceed through the school where the child is studying. So enquire in the school and act accordingly.
Ive 2 questions:
1) I've done my B.tech in mechanical stream(industrial engg.). Now, I would like to do a PG course in mathematics (Eg. applied mathematics). Would u treat this as a good move?

2) Please let me know the list of best institutions in India for PG course in Applied Mathematics?

Why not if you are interested? IIT Rourkhee offers this course for which the eligibility is Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics as a subject for at least two years/four semesters. Admission is based on the Joint Admission test for M.Sc (JAM) the details of which can be had from http://jam.iitm.ac.in/
