My daughter has a US passport along with OIC card. She has been studying in a CBSE school in Kerala from Class 4 onwards. She is now in Class 8 . She has a birth certificate from Calicut. Will she be allowed to write the Kerala medical entrance exam as an Indian citizen and will she allowed to pay normal fees if she passes the entrance? The entrance exam prospectus says that she will be treated as an Indian citizen for the limited purpose of admission. Does this mean that normal fees will apply too or will she have to pay NRI fees? Does this rule apply to entrance exams for self financing medical colleges too? I look forward to your reply. Thank you

AS per the existing rule, birth certificate of candidate showing place of birth in Kerala is sufficient to get a 'Keralite' status. If the candidate gets allotment of the CEE, the candidate need pay only fee as applicable for the seat allotted. IN self financing Colleges also the candidate can apply as a Keralite itself. This is the existiing rule .

i completed my Tenth standard under CBSE, from Jawahar Navodaya Viidyalaya on marcch 2003. In my certificate my date of birth is wrong as per Birth certificate. Is it Any way to correct the Date of birth?

Request for correction of date of birth has to be submitted within two years of declaration of Class X result. Anyway contact the school where you did the course for more details.

The CCE card will carry individual subject wise marks.
by the new scheme there is no board exam for tenth.then how can i acquire admission for +2 in state board schools where marks of board exam is considered?

You need not take the exam if you paln to continue in the same school for Plus TWo. If you have plans to move to another school, then you may have to take the Class X Exam.

Many students studied under CBSE syllabus are facing problem to change the date of birth in their CBSE 10th Certificate as CBSE will not allow a change in 10th standard Certificate after 2 years.Whether they may be allowed a chance to correct the Certificate.
