I have enquired about black listed deemed universities. You gave me suggestion too. But this is to clarify the details given by you. In reply you said me ICFAI has only Hyderabad headquarter, but I'm doing MCA of ICFAI Tripura, Please send me details about ICFAI Tripura.

ICFAI Tripura is not a deemed university. It is a private university formed under state's legislature. Hence it has got some problems. In Kerala it is not having approval though it has got the approval of the UGC. Kerala govt has not enacted private university Act and so it is not in a position to approve private universities. OK? In Tripura it has got approval.
Is there any question from the political parties (class 10 - 2010)?

Sir,
My son is studying in 9th Standard at Gurukulam PS, Venginissery.
The School Principal on meeting with the Parents, informed that those who are interest in appearing the Board Exam in 10th cannot continuing in the same school. This left with lot of doubts in the minds of parants.
They are
1. The future of the child after 10th Board exam?
2. What is the reason for not admitting those students who appear for the Board exam?
3. The standard & pattern of the exam will have an upperhand for the school Management.
I expect a detailed column of this matter in the comming issues of Mathrubhum daily.

Reply from CBSE : This is not true.I f it is a senior secondary school, all students will take school based examination in class X in March 2011. If it is a secondary school, all students will take Board examination in March 2011.
Can you explain the percentage of marks of both scholastic and co-scholasstic to pass the final exams of class IX and X ?

A student will be declared having passed in Class IX / X , if he/ she get a grade higher than E1 in all the subjects of scholastic area. Existing provisions for improvement and compartment will continue to be followed. The mark range and the corresponding grade point are given hereunder.

MARKS RANGE         GRADE POINT

91-100      A1                  10.0
81-90        A2                   9.0
71-80        B1                   8.0
61-70        B2                   7.0
51-60        C1                   6.0
41-50        C2                   5.0
33-40        D                     4.0
21-32        E1                    ---

Answer from CBSE : Every student will have to score the qualifying Grade D in all subjects in the scholastic area.

I'm doing MCA of ICFAI university. Now I heard that the approval of so many deemed or other universities are withdrawn by the government. I want know whether ICFAI is also included in that list? Can I continue my MCA? please give me your valuable suggestion as early as possible.

ICFAI has only one deemed university and it is headquartered at Hyderabad. It has not been blacklisted by Central govt. Altogether 44 deemed universities are there in the so called " black list" which you can see from the homepage of this portal.
