  • sir,
My son is in 11th standard CBSE, with PCM.
Due to certain reasons, he dislikes the school. Because of that, he faced problems in his studies. He missed some unit tests and terminal exams. So, in order to compensate for that, he needs to score more marks so as to pass. There's a high probability that he might fail. He was an average student. He did not know about this. Because of this, he's very depressed. If he gets encouragement, it would be good for him.
My question is; In the event that he fails the 11th, can he stop going to school and instead go for tuitions, and attend an external examination? How can we help him in not losing a year? We are in Pune now. We're considering sending him to State Syllabus. Please give me your suggestion as soon as possible.

  • SIR,

The MBBS 1st year students of MG University are now facing a critical problem. Their results are being delayed by 4 months now. It is learned that further one or one and a half month may take to publish .The university exams were finished on 2009 Nov.4th.now it is March! Their exam was also conducted too late compared to the other Universities. The Calicut University which has got 6 medical colleges under it and had their results within 1 month and started their 2nd year classes by October itself. The MG University which has only 3 medical Colleges under it Viz,. Govt.Med.College, Kottayam, MOSC .Med.College, Kolenchery and Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and the 1st MBBS Students are waiting for their results since 4 months. Their Classes were Started on August 2008 and now its march 2010, still the students are in the 1st year. This is going to be a great problem to the Students especially during their PG entrance Examinations.
Only after Completing the House Surgency, they are able to attend the PG entrance exam, if it is going to be like this, it would get delayed by about 2 years and the student’s future would be in vain. The officials are still not taking any steps for publishing the results of just 350 students under the MG University. Kindly advice what to do?
