Since you have not mentioned about the board, we assume that she is a state HSS student. Normally this is difficult since the first year examinations are to begin on 15th March. How can your daughter make up the first year portions of the science stream ? If she is so adamant that the stream is to be changed, then she will miss one year. Next year she will have to register again for Plus one with humanities or science stram, after discussing this with the Principal of the school where is she is studying now.
I am studying in class 9th in Army School, Pangode, Thiruvananthapuram, while my cousin Vaishnav is studying in class 9th at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Akkulam. With the new exam pattern, I will have to attend the CBSE Board exam as our school is a Secondary School while my cousin do not have to attend the CBSE board exam as their school is a Senior Secondary School. Now my question is that I have to study hard as the number of seats in class 11 are limited. But on the other hand my cousin do not have to work hard as a promotion mark could help him to go to 11th class. Is this helpful in building confidence in a child?

Your anxiety is baseless though understandable. You will be getting admission at any CBSE school with your Xth certificate but your cousin can study only at that school where he is studying now. So the person who gets the benefit of reforms is none other than yourself. Pl. dont think otherwise . Keep a positive mind. Only then you will be able to go ahead with flying colours. Wish you best of luck. ( Don't tell Vaishnav about this, Ok ? ).

You can reappear in the March Examination or in the September Examination. The time for applying for March exam is over. So try for the september exam. Watch the notification inviting applications for the exam. This can come anytime after June.
is there any save a year programme for the failed student in class tenth exam this year?

The State Board of Higher Secondary Education has this scheme. Notification will come after the results of the regular exam are announced. Do not think about this now itself. Try to pass the examination with high marks. OK!

It has been extended to two years already this. See the link http://www.iitk.ac.in/gate/gate2010/score.php It is given as "GATE scorecard is valid for TWO YEARS from the date of announcement of the GATE 2010 results . There is no provision for additional GATE scorecards".

This depends on the admissibility or the approval of the course by Universities in Kerala. You will have to ascertain from the University where you plan to join higher studies whether the course i recognised by that University for admission to Higher Studies. Get in touch with the acdemic section of the University concerned.
Sir i want to know about the conditional pass in kerala university for b-tech.Is it only for regular exam?or is it applicable in supplementary exam also?I also want to know about course clearance?

You may better contact Mr.Prins - The Public Relations Officer of the University. His number is 9446306565. He will assist you in this matter. You being a native of Tvm, you can even go to the University at Palayam and meet Mr.Prins.
I am Xth yr student. It is understood that there is only grade this year. Pl clarify how many grades will be there and how they are classified i.e. minimum and maximum marks in each grade. Which is the minimum grade for passing?

What is the examination fee for B.TECH Degree Examinination(Supplimentary) 2008 scheme (Kerala University) S1-S2 .In kerala university website, page giving fee details gives error and there is no information available in the site. I have seen in news paper that it is Rs.50 for each paper and maximum Rs.200 . But our college authorities instructed us to pay Rs.475 + 100 for each paper. Please give me information about exam fee. We have to remit fee before 15th. Also, Is there any rule that only four supplimentary exams can be written at a chance? I have failed in 5 papers in s1s2. Can i write all the 5 at this chance. Or 4 this time and 1 at next chance?

For each of the I, II, III & IV Year examination : First appearance (Whole examination) Rs. 120 + Rs. 25 for marklist + Rs. 30 for practical examination + Rs. 50 for stationary . From http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2009/aicte_feewaiver_2009.pdf I came to know that my daughter, Kum. A Ganga Warrier has selected for fee waiver scheme of AICTE TUITION FEE WAIVER SCHEME, 2009. Please let me know more about the scheme and also the procedure for getting the scholarship

You will get the fee exemption as per AICTE stipulations and your daughter will be informed of this by the college authorities.
