Is IIIT pune a good institute to persue M.TEch? Is it ranked above the NITs. Is there any IIIT ranked above NIT Trichy?
Posted by Sandeep, Hyderbad On 14.03.2010
View Answer
There may be rankings given to institutes which may not have universal acceptance. There is no official rankings given to institutions. NIT s have been existing for a longer period when compared to IIITs. So they might stand a bit ahead of the IIITs in one sense for some. This need not be a Universally accepted statement. IIITs are reputed institutes. So IIIT Pune will not be a wrong choice to pursue M.tech. It depends on the choice of the individual generally.

I am now writing my cbse 12th exam.I have passed cbse 10th in 2008.There was a mistake in my
10th certificate regarding date of birth.I got this corrected by the board. In the new certificate there is
no photo. The officials said that they never give photo in a 2nd certificate. Will this cause any problem in future. The board has taken the old certificate and issued the 2nd certificate.

This has been answered already. Now it is clarified that the old certificate has been withdrawn by the Board. As mentioned in the reply given earlier, the cerificate without photo should not cause any problem to you. Identification based on photo is made through other documents such as Passport, PAN Card, Voter Identitity, School/College ID etc. So do not get worried over this.
