Following is the standing rule of the Kerala PSC.

Degrees and Diploma awarded by Statutory Universities established by an Act of the Central or State Legislature or by the other Institutions of higher learning recognized as Universities by the Central University Grants Commission, should be recognized.

Certificates and Diplomas awarded by the Board of Secondary and Intermediate Education duly set up and recognized by the Education duly set up and recognized by the Central Government or a State Government Should be recognized.

All Technical and Professional qualifications recognized by the Government of India should be recognized for purpose Should be recognized for purpose of appointment to Various posts in Public Service in the State other than teaching posts.

Mar Athanasius College ( MA college ) of Engineering or is an aided college with long years of standing with reputation. See http://www.mace.ac.in/ Fees for MTech will be as per govt rules. Last year it was : Admission fees Rs. 150, Special fees Rs. 2850,Tuition fees Rs. 3500 per semester, Caution Deposit Rs. 1000 at the time of admission. But my quistain is i am M.E second class with 70% aggregate from anna university and B.E also 53% second class from karnatak university both ug and pg college are regonised by aicte .I am eligible as lectuerer in any engineering colleage? some colleage give offering and some colleage not give jobs. aicte web site is confusing. with reference to u r answers.yesterday. if you claer M.E within two years then the aggregate is 60% then passed with first class.This is the criteria.
But in my case i am passed the M.E after two years so irrespective of the aggregate marks .Passed the M.E with second class with 70% aggregate. At this junction i am eligible or not for asst prossor post.

Since the ACITE criteria stipulates first class MTech/ME for Assistant Professor, you are on weak ground with a second class for securing the same posting.

Please also make clear why you have been awarded second class by the university after securing an aggregate of 70 percent. Where did you lag or fail?

According to the answer you have given I checked the prospectus of Kerala Set 2010. I have passed MCA. As the Qualifying PG Degree for the subject Computer Science/ IT is not specified in the prospectus of Kerala Set 2010, Can I apply for the same or otherwise PG degee in Computer Sci/IT is a must ?

Your doubt is genuine. Though as per special rules MCA and BTech are incorporated in the list of qualifying examinations of SET, it is being missed in the prospectus. The amended prospectus will be issued within a week and then you will be able to apply for SET without any apprehensions.
Sir,
My daughter is now appearing for the class IX exam.in a CBSE affiliated school. It is came to know that CBSE exam is optional from the next year 2011.I wish to change her to state syllubus from plus-I onwards. It is came to no that if a student wishes to change the school, she has to appear for the board examination. But if the school management is not ready to conduct the board exam. for one or two students , how I can change my daughter to state syllubus. Is it possible to admit a student to +1 state syllubus based on the CCE card issued after the school based exam. I fear that my decision to change the school may affect the internal assessment. Kindly clarify these doubts.

"Every school is required to generate a question paper using questions made available by CBSE through a question bank in every subject. The quality and standard of academic level of these assessment tools gets automatically taken care of. Moreover, the certificate issued by the school will be properly authenticated by the Board. Thus , there no reason why the marks or certificate issued by the school will not be considered comparable to similar document issued by any other Board."

"According to the present scheme, there will be routine Board examination for students studying in these schools. Marks obtained by students in Board Examination will be used for admission in any other school. Besides, all schools will be honouring CCE cards. Even the other state Board’s of Education are being pursued to issue necessary directions to schools in this regard."

You may refer to Appendix 7.3 of AICTE guidelines. It refers to faculty cadre and qualifications. It says how to become Assistant Professor (which is now the lowest cadre since there is no lecturer post in the new scheme) in Engineering/Technology programme an applicant has to pass "BE/BTech and ME/MTech in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in BE/BTech or ME/MTech"

However, after the table containing various stipulations on qualifications, it also says "If a class/ division is not awarded, minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class/ division. If a Grade Point System is adopted the CGPA will be converted into equivalent marks."

We are unable to understand your case where you are awarded a second class with 70 per cent aggregate. You may further explain how this phenomenon is occuring in your university.

You need not have any apprehensions about IGNOU. Its certificates have validity in 34 countries. Visit the IGNOU centre in Doha for knowing details about courses run by the centre. Also visit the IGNOU website for a general idea about the varsity. The website is http://www.ignou.ac.in/
