After DOEACC 'C' level, you can join MTech at DOEACC or other colleges or varsities. You know DOEACC is run by Dept of Electronics, Govt of India and its certificate has validity. 'O' level is basic, 'B' level is equivalant to BTech and 'C' level is equal to MTech. After MTech you can write JRF also.

What is the present condition of SRM University as Deemed University? How is it categorised? Is it "A" or "B" or "C"?

I have qualified Gate exam EC with 96%ile.As ther is big rush in 2010, i know its very hard to get into IITs n NITs.Which are the other reputed institutes /deemed universitie which stand very next to these institutes.

Apart from IITs and NITs there are colleges under Director of Technical Education, Kerala who offer MTech. They are College of Engg,Tvm, TKM College of Engg, Kollam, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam and Govt Engg College, Trissur. Besides thse, there are some self financing colleges also which offer MTech in Kerala. Outside the state, there are BITS Pilani and Ranchi, Anna Uty , Dhirubai Ambani Institute, Central Institute Plastic Engg & Technology etc which have MTech courses. CIPET has around seven campuses in different states.
Have the newly setup IITs viz gandhinagar,mandi,hyderbad,indore started M.Tech courses?Is it worth joining in these institutes?

They are at various stages of development. Now these new IITs are mentored by existing IITs (eg: IIT Bombay for IIT Gandhinagar, Indore). It is also backed by the Central Government. So you need not doubt about the validity and worthness of these new IITs. Initially the faculty of the existing IITs will teach at these new IITs. Admission to the MTech courses of all IITs is based on GATE score.
what is the qualification required to appear for civil service examination and what the topics which we have study to appear for the exam?(in detail please)

The prescribed qualification to appear for Civil Service Exam is a degree from a recognised University or equivalent. Candidates appearing at the degree examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions. For details visit www.upsc.gov.in

Post Graduate Degree Courses in Engg are being offered in four Engg Colleges namely College of Engg, Thiruvananthapuram (University of Kerala) , TKM College of Engg, Kollam (University of Kerala) , Govt Engg College Thrissur (University of Calicut) and Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam (M.G. University).For EC students three specialisations are available at College of Engg, Tvm.They are Signal Processing (seats 18), Microwave and Television Engg (12), Applied Electronics and Instrumentation (12). Apart from this some self financing Engg Colleges also offer MTech in EC. Announcements will be carried in this portal as well as Mathrubhumi daily as and when they come. Pl.keep on watching.
