National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) is located about 22 kilometers north-east of Calicut City. You can reach NIT Calicut by bus from Kozhikode bus station (KSRTC or private bus station). From there go to Palayam Bus station and take the bus to NIT Calicut. Buses to Mukkam, Areekkode, etc. via Kunnamangalam pass through NIT Calicut. (NIT Calicut bus stop). Good luck!

i am a first yesr degree student of M.G University.I want to write the entrance examination of 2010 for engeneering.But i have my second semesrer examination on the same date of entrance examination[April 19th & 20th].What can i do?

The Entrance Exam date is not liklely to be changed as it was announced well in advance. Usually Universities arrange theri exams so that it does not clash with the Entrance dates. Anyway represent the case to the University at the earliest.

Is it possible for you to do two or three courses simultaneously which may result in landing up nowhere. It is always better to concentrate on one course at a time particularly when it is course like B.Com. Sir,if i refer the old question papers of kerala engg entrance exam will it help me to do well in the comong entrance exam.......i have heard that a lot of questions will be repeat from old question papers......and i like to get from which chapters more question will ask for mathematics and others??

If you go through the old question papers you will get an idea on the nature of questions being asked. That will make you more confident to face the examination. The understanding that questions are being repeated need not be correct.

Admit Card will be available on ICAR website www.icar.org.in after 15 April 2010 as per teh information brochure. So wait till that date. You might get it by Post by then.

Online submission of application is to be made at http://www.upsconline.nic.in/

To get AppendixII(a) go to 'What's New' at http://upsc.gov.in/, go to Notifications --- NDA & NA Examination (II) 2010 ----- there you will get Appendix II (a)
I am a post graduate in Physics from M.G.University. I concentrated in Physics on the expectation that I may get jobs in telecommunication sector, especially BSNL. But it is a fact that the engineering graduates have robed all our opportunities in that sector. Pl inform me the other venues for Physics post graduates.

You have opportunities in the teaching sector. It can be at the College/University level. With a NET quaifcation in addition to your M.Sc you can apply for the post of Lecturer in College. You can go for higher studies in Physics. You can do M.Phil or Ph.D. You need not be upset. Go ahead.
