For taking a Ph.D you will have to first identify a supervising teacher and a topic for research in consultation with the teacher. You will have to watch the notification for research issued by the University of your interest and apply for the Programme as per their directions. You will have to satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed.
Sir, I am a plusTwo student.Can I join B tech after a diploma in a polytechnic? Is there is any benefits or drawbacks if I choose this way of doing Btech after engineering diploma in a polytechnic?

You can join B.Tech after Diploma of three years. This can be through direct entry to first year or through lateral entry to third semester. If you take Diploma after Plus Two and then join B.Tech, you need 7 years for completing B.Tech. If you go for lateral entry after Diploma taken after plus two, you need only 6 years to complete B.Tech. If you go fro B.Tech after Plus Two, you need only four years to take B.Tech after Plus Two. So the advantage or disadvantage depends on the decision you take. If you are looking for a placement after completing a course, it would be better to get qualified at the earliest.

You can join B.Tech through Lateral Entry after Diploma. You need 3 years to complete the course.

I am a student preparing for ugc-csir net exam in physics.I couldn't understand why csir people always hide all examination Procedures including not even giving question papers to students also.so we don't get any old papers to prepare well.Can we give complaint against this by right to information act?Please expect an answer.

There may be some decision by UGC no to give out the earlier question papers, the reason for which can be best explained only by the UGC. There is no harm in applying for the old question papers as per the provisions of the RTI Act.

Lateral Entry to B.Tech is possible for Diploma holders. In Kerala, applications have been invited for Lateral Entry Test for 2010. See the link www.lbskerala.com/menu/let/default.htm

Now in a Gov.self finance engg. Collage the fees of a general merit students is 25000/-per year, for those students selected under AICTE tution fee Waiver scheme how much % of this fee will be reduced? Is it This fee benifit will be up to 4 year?
Please explain sir.

Tuition fee will be waived for those selected under this scheme. The list of candidates eligible for this waiver is given at http://www.cee-kerala.org/engmed/2009/aicte_feewaiver_2009.pdf It will be available for the entire course period.
